Computer Centre: Delhi university has the oldest and most prestigious computer centres, providing crucial technical assistance to the whole DU community, including its colleges. It engages with university partners to improve teaching, learning, innovation, and discovery at Delhi University.
Conference Centre: The university has a spacious air-conditioned meeting hall with seating for more than 300 persons is available within this property. The conference centre is surrounded by lush greenery. It also has nine big and medium-sized committee rooms, board rooms, computer rooms, video-conferencing, and media centre space. The Delhi University community hosts national and international academic conferences in the conference centre.
Health Centre: The W.U.S. Health Centre (North Campus) is located on the University of Delhi's North Campus. It provides comprehensive primary health care to its beneficiaries 24x7, except on Gazetted Holidays and Sundays, when it is open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It employs a full-time physician, an ENT specialist, a gynaecologist, a pulmonologist, general duty medical officers, Neurologist, Cardiologist, Ophthalmologist, Orthopaedician, Pediatrician, Dental Surgeon, and from Monday to Friday. In addition, it provides clinical pathology lab facilities to the beneficiaries.
International Guest House: The Delhi University infrastructure has an International Guest House (IGH) located on University Road, directly across from the faculty of music, and is only a hundred metres from the Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station and a hundred metres from "the Ridge'' (Kamla Nehru Park). Two committee rooms are available, one on the ground level with state-of-the-art facilities. It is in a safe and hygienic environment and is run by competent and helpful personnel available to our visitors at all hours of the day and night. The IGH is popular among the University's academic visitors from India and outside. All reservations are made through the University's departments, centres, and faculties.
University Guest House: The university Guest House is situated opposite the Main University gate adjacent to P.G. Men's hostel. It has about 33 Guest rooms, 6 Bamboo cottage rooms and a dining hall for the guests that visit the University.
University Radio: DUCR 90.4 MHz's main focus is on broadcasting student-centric community-based programming. In addition to these features, music and songs are incorporated into the application to make it more engaging. The institute pays close attention to the balance of education, information, and fun in the broadcasting program.
University Press: The university press provides printing, binding, and related services to the university and its departments, colleges, centres, and hostels as needed. Due to a lack of infrastructure and employees, the press is currently outsourcing the printing of degrees, answer books, envelopes, and the binding and rebinding of A.C./E.C. minutes, results, salary bills, registers, and the rest of the work to duly approved printers.
DU Library System: Delhi University Library System (DULS) consists of more than 34 libraries and is accomplishing its task of reaching the wider academic community. DULS also promotes Open Access e-resources. DULS is regularly conducting innovative Information Literacy Programs (ILP) for the benefit of students, researchers, and faculty members and making efforts to develop tutorials to make the community proficient in the use of WWW.
University Science Information Centre: The University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC) is a hub that holds advanced analytical equipment. Its main goal is to provide services to all scientists and students in the university's science departments and the constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. All researchers have access to spectral, thermal, chemical, and microstructural analytical facilities on various materials. All science departments have access to a centralized liquid nitrogen delivery system, and all petitions for customs duty and excise duty exemptions for imported commodities are completed. For laboratory staff and research researchers, training programs and workshops/seminars in specific materials characterization and analysis are held regularly.
Hostels: The Delhi University hostel offers accommodation to students based on academic merit. For Men: P.G. Men’s Hostel, University Road International Students House, Mall Road Gwyer Hall, University Road Mansarovar Hostel, Guru Tegh Bahadur Marg D.S. Kothari Hostel, University Road V.K.R.V. Rao Hall, University Road Jubilee Hall, Khyber Pass Road For Women: University Hostel for Women, Chhatra Marg & Meghdoot Hostel, Chhatra Marg. Students should directly contact the office of the hostels concerned and apply as per the stipulated procedure well in time.
University Gardens: As places connected with natural ridge woods, the University gardens are distributed over 198.67 acres on the North campus and roughly 65 acres on the South campus. The University gardens provide recreational and spiritual activities to the University community and improve the beauty of the campus. In addition, they aid in the reduction of air pollution on campus. Hundreds of students use the garden spaces for debates and discussions, and lessons are often held there. The Delhi University campus gardens attract several bird watchers. In addition, residents from the surrounding areas and the city come to the campus for morning and evening walks, which the University gardens provide a major public service.
