University of Mysore is spread on 739 acres of land. It is a pioneer in solarisation, with solar power installed in all street lamps and solar water heaters installed in all hostels. Auditorium: The university has an auditorium. It also boasts a vast open-air theatre with a seating capacity of 10,000 people where large-scale cultural events can be hosted. Furthermore, most departments have well-equipped meeting rooms. Students can use these facilities for cultural programs and competitions such as debate, music, dance, drama, and special lectures.

Banking Services: The State Bank of India has two branches in the University of Mysore, one on the Manasagangotri campus and the other on Crawford hall, offering banking and ATM services.

Cafeteria: A centrally positioned canteen serves food to students, faculty, and the general public.

Health Centre: The University of Mysore includes two health centres to cater to the medical needs of the university's students, faculty, and staff.

Library: The University of Mysore library serves students, research scholars, and professors. More than 75,000 bound volumes of periodicals and roughly 6,000 reference and textbook volumes are available. Sports Services: The University of Mysore features extensive sports fields, a cricket stadium, tennis courts, a gymnasium, and a well-kept swimming pool to meet the demands of the city's students, professors, and sports enthusiasts. There are also three indoor stadiums: Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, Gangotri Glades, and Three Indoor Stadiums.

Transport Facilities: The University of Mysore facilities include city buses run by KSRTC to the campus every 20 minutes from all sections of the city. The central bus station is around 6 kilometres away, and the city railway station is about 3 kilometres away.
