They assist in training the students on corporate competencies and placing them in the desired industry. The placement cell serves to assist the student to explore the opportunities provided by a prospective employer. Placements & Internships : I have never done any college internship yet, but I have interned at a few firms. Key companies that come to my college are- Morgan Stanley, Google, CitiBank, Tata Services, etc. The Alumni network is good, the student council and the placement cell work extensively for the students.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission as an outstation student was merit marks. They only look at your recent score for all admissions. For instance, they check your 12th-grade marks for grad year. There is no entrance exam. Everything is merit-based. The typical cutoffs for my college go to 90 per cent for the open category. For reservations such as the Gujarati minority, the cut off is the same, around 85 per cent maximum.
Fees & Scholarships : Usha Pravin Gandhi College, [UPGC] Mumbai Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 18K for the first year. There are a lot of scholarship options in my college. Loans aren't needed as such.
Academics & Faculty : Classes now start at 9.30 am to 3.30 pm mostly. The quality of teaching is fantastic, and the method is always a practical approach. For instance, BMM students get to shoot, make short films, etc., and the students have their business models and work on them. The staff is directly connected to the industry, so it gives students a benefit. The overall experience considering workshops, activities and college clubs, etc., is exciting.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college doesn't have its specific hostel, but you can find private colleges around campus a lot. The average hostel fee is around INR 3L for an academic year. You can also find PGs with great amenities with fees ranging between INR 10K to INR 20K. Even sharing flats are very common here. Food is college is finger-licking. Most of the cafeteria is always buzzing with people. Outside college, the students can find the famous stalls of Mumbai, such as the Anand stall, etc. The classrooms are vast, well equipped with furniture, ACs, smart classes and well lit.
Clubs & Associations : There are various clubs such as Eloquence, debate societies, placement cells, cultural committees, college fests, NSS and a lot more. The main fests of UPG is the lit fest which always has a lot of exciting activities. Last year, Viraj Ghelani and many YouTubers and actors came to our college as the alumni of our college consists of famous bollywood stars such as Ajay Devgan, Juhi Chawla, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Varun Dhawan etc. You also visit other college fests like Mithibai Kshitij, which is part of the main group. The life of a college student at UPG is always buzzing with activities, clubs or workshops.

Placements & Internships : The internship scenario for UPG BMM as of now is rather dicey and not something which one can boast about. But as a BMM student, no college provides you an assured placement or internship for that matter.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for the bachelor's of mass media (B.M.M) in UPG is entirely merit-based. The cutoffs are moderate for students coming from commerce and science background. Although one can deem the cutoffs to be fairly high for students belonging to arts. If you have gotten 90% or above, you're good to go and can be unflustered from all the stress for clearing the entrance. Talking about the admission process, you're given three days before the next merit list comes out to complete your admission. The whole process is usually conducted on-campus and is generally uncomplicated.
Fees & Scholarships : Usha Pravin Gandhi College, [UPGC] Mumbai Fee Structure. The fee for my course is up to Rs 18,000 per year. The fees are as minimalistic as possible, ranging between 16k-18k. Given the facilities and opportunities, the fees are reasonably viable and attainable.
Academics & Faculty : Being a student of UPG, I can vouch for a meritorious set of faculty and praiseworthy academics. The way things are taught helps in the development and growth of students categorically. Unlike many colleges, pristine attention is given to academics along with persistent involvement in co-curricular activities too.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure of UPG is one of the many things it famed for. From an amazing canteen to well-equipped classrooms, it has everything that a student looks for. The campus is size is comparatively insignificant, but the provisions provided within the campus suffice the same.
Clubs & Associations : The colleges in Mumbai are eminent for the presence of numerous clubs and committees within the college. Similarly, UPG too has various clubs, naming some of them we have our debating society 'eloquence', also there are two major clubs namely the Rotaract club of UPG and UPGNSS. And of course the cultural committee for all the fest happening the entire year. Simply put, you will never fall short of clubs and committees of your interest to showcase your skills and talents.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria are according to university rules of Mumbai. Admission procedure can be done in college itself. MHCET entrance exam has to be taken. Typically for general students, the cutoff is high, generally, the last list went till 70points for general students and even lower for students having Gujarati quota.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Meals in college cost around 50 to 80 rupees on average. Classrooms, library, WiFi facility is of top-notch quality.

Academics & Faculty : Lectures are always conducted on time. Quality of teaching is excellent as professors are well acquainted with the practical knowledge of the subjects. Infrastructure and library are luxurious enough to comfort oneself.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are no hostels to the best of my knowledge. The food would cost around Rs. 100 per meal. Quality of classrooms, labs, libraries etc. are excellent with centralized AC.
Clubs & Associations : Students are very friendly and various fests are organized by students. Thus, it's very socially active and responsive environment.

Placements & Internships : Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS etc big multinational company approach UPGC for the internship after the third year. Some small company does offer summer internship and internship after every semester, is the key feature of this college. On an average 15000INR is monthly salary company offers but highest can go till 30000 depending on your skills
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for bscit are 40 and above marks in maths here at UPGC. Anyone with maths as a subject in 12th or in diploma can apply. No entrance examination for this course. 2016-2017 cut off was 55 for open quota and 56 for Gujarati quota
Fees & Scholarships : College fees are something around 23000INR per year at UPGC. No loans are needed. Partial scholarship or full scholarship can be avail from different NGO's and institutions
Academics & Faculty : Timing our bit lengthy some days 7:30 am to 2 pm, 9:30 am to 4:50 pm. A third-year project is compulsory. Proper arrangements are there for exams and assignments. Around 10 assignment are given throughout semester with 1 week time to submit. Teachers are excellent. They use different teaching techniques to make understand things. They are very helpful. UPGC was a good experience.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : A single hostel is available. There are many PGs available near UPGC. Rates vary. Canteen food is no less than 5-star food. Many varieties of food are offered with hygiene in mind. AC classroom, labs, and library. WiFi provision is there with the proper restriction on improper contents of Internet. Classrooms are very spacious and labs are very well equipped. The library has a range of different genres. And ebooks library can also be accessed.
Clubs & Associations : Various events are celebrated here at UPGC. There are many clubs and societies like NSS, DLLE, women's development club, rotary club and much more. Aahan is the main festival on campus with many small one-day fests like technovation, UPG bazaar.
