The WMO arts and science college Muttil offers several state-of-the-art facilities counting Research room, Discussion Room, NET Resource Centre, INFLIBNET, Periodical and Reference sections etc. The library here is a well thought-out compilation of information resources in printed and digital forms that is made handy for borrowing and reference. Digital library is the e-library, in which the information is gathered and safeguarded in the digital form. Our library is with the intention of proffering free access of printed materials and digital resources with the altruistic objective of educational enlightenment and bringing the welfare in educational life of our students.

Sports and Games

The College is very enthusiastic in developing sports and games and provides facilities to play Cricket, Volleyball, ball badminton, Kabbadi, basket ball, shuttle and Kho-kho, by providing separate spacious play ground for each game. Amenities for playing indoor games like table tennis, chess and carom are also available in our campus.

Moreover, the Cricket Field with turf pitch is constructed in collaboration with the Kerala Cricket Association.

The Annual Sports meet of the college is a significant part of the academic calendar, in which not only students, but also teachers and support staff participates with equal zest. In its bid to promote sports and games, the college gives first concern during admission to those students who take part in state-level sports competition.

Hostel

Hostel facility is provided for the girl students coming from remote locations and geographically lonely areas. The underprivileged students are given hostel facility at subsidized cost.

Proper care is taken to provide nutritious and hygienic food to everyone. There is lot of options in the Menu as the hostel serves food to students from all over South India and other places. The Hostel wardens take good care about every detail because they are present round the clock. Ignorance of rules will not be accepted as an excuse.

• Contemporary Kitchen equipment to cook and serve hygienic food and special food for ill students as per doctor’s prescription.
• Mineral water and no-stop power supply is provided in the Hostel.
• Medical and intercom facilities are also provided in the hostel.
• Broad Recreation Rooms with television and reading lounge

Canteen

W.M.O Arts and Science College provides good canteen facilities for its students and staff. Our College canteen prepares and provides students with a wholesome and hygienic standard breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks at a nominal cost, for the benefit of the faculties and students. Both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food are made available. Plus, R.O water for drinking & cooking and treated filtered water for all other purposes is made available. _ students can occupy the canteen hall at the same time.

Seminar Hall

Our College has hi-tech Seminar hall, with a seating capacity for about persons. The Seminar hall is well equipped with state-of-the-art Computer Systems, Projector screen, Ceiling Fans, Light settings and speaker facilities. The Seminar Hall is a perfect setting for organizing Workshops, Departmental activities and Seminars. The seminar hall is used for conducting several other college events as it has a unique ambience to meet the requirement of every event. The Seminar hall also holds a crafty board through which we have made teaching interactive and effective to make education simple. The faculties also find it advantageous to communicate the subject in an appropriate way.

Co-operative society

Co-operative society of W.M.O. Arts and Science College Muttil is functioning to supply practical manuals, note books, text books, surveying instruments, drawing instruments, laboratory records and other stationary articles necessary for the faculties, students and other Government associations, with concession. The society also runs a savings bank for the benefit of students and staff. The functioning of the society is governed by a Director Board which consist members from staff and student. The principal of the college is the president of this co-operative society.
