AFCAT Merit list 2023 (1 and 2): Dates, Steps to Download PDFs

AFCAT merit list 2023 for the August session will be released after the final interview round of the exam. AFCAT 2023 August exam session was conducted on Aug 25, 26 and 27, 2023. The notification for the same was released by the official board.  AFCAT Merit List 1 for the January session was published on May 4, 2023. Only those candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be listed on the merit list. The AFCAT merit list will be based on the written and medical tests a candidate must clear to get admission to Flying Officers and Ground Staff (non-technical and technical) courses.The Air Force Common Admission Test is held twice yearly, in January and August.

• Candidates must log in with their credentials.
• The AFCAT 1 Merit List 2023 PDF link will appear on the screen.
• Candidates can search for their Roll number using Ctrl+F.

• AFCAT Merit List 2023 for the January session was released on Mar 13, 2023. 
• AFCAT 2 was conducted on Aug 25,26 and 27, 2023. 
• The Merit list List is divided into Male and Female sections based on the branch they have applied for.
• The merit list will have the name, roll number, and the order of merit of the candidate.
• The first merit list will be based just on the written test. Candidates must pass (Written + AFSB + DV) to secure admission.
• The AFCAT conducts examinations to fill for Flying Officers and Ground Staff (Non-technical and Technical) courses. 
• The Final AFCAT merit list will be based on merit, medical fitness, choice of branch and vacancies available. 
• 10% of the vacancies are reserved for NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate holders in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) Branches. 
• Allotment of the Branch would be based on the number of vacancies, performance in the selection process, medical fitness and the choice given by the candidates.
