The AIEED SAT Exam is held in two phases. The phase 2 registration is ongoing, and the last date to apply for it is Apr 12, 2025. Applicants who wish to apply must make sure to fulfil the AIEED SAT eligibility criteria and age limit. The AIEED SAT 2025 Phase 2 Exam is being held from Feb 10- April 15, 2025. The exam is ongoing along with the application process. To fulfil the AIEED eligibility, the students who have appeared or cleared their Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent) will only be eligible to attend the online screening test. After the application process ends, the applicants will be given a screening date. The AIEED SAT registration fee is INR 3000.
The AIEED SAT 2025 Phase II batch will start in May 2025. Candidates are advised to download their AIEED SAT admit card 2025 from the official website as per the date of their exam. It is an important document that must be presented at the AIEED SAT 2025 exam centre.
AIEED SAT Phase 1 2025: The phase 1 registration was active from Jan 1-28, 2025, while the exam was conducted from Jan 5-30, 2025. The batch for phase 1 exam conducted by the ARCH College of Design & Business will commence on July 20, 2025.
About AIEED SAT
AIEED SAT full form i All India Entrance Examination for Design. This exam is conducted by the ARCH College of Design & Business for students willing to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Design.
The conducting authority conducts the Scholarship Aptitude Test called AIEED SAT to reward deserving candidates. However, only candidates who fulfil certain parameters will be eligible for this test. The elaborate details are discussed below.
The scholarship aptitude test will generally be held in the months of December or January. The exam will take place after the AIEED exam. Candidates have to fulfil any of the following parameters given below to take this test.
- The parameters considered will be the candidate's performance in the AIEED exam.
- The performance of the candidate in the 12th or UG final exam and the PG final exam will be considered.
Scholarship Eligibility - Other Cases
A student is considered eligible in certain other cases, like the following.
- if the candidate's parent is in the defence or armed forces.
- if the candidate's parent is an artisan
- Or if the candidate happens to be the son or daughter of a single mother.
- Or if the candidate belongs to a weaker section of society.
Remember the scholarship will only be provided on a first-come come first-served basis, which ideally means an eligible candidate must make sure he or she applies for the exam; otherwise, another eligible candidate who is in the waiting list will be given the scholarship.
Bank Loans
Most of the leading banks and financial institutions will provide loans to the candidates after verifying and checking the credentials of the parents. The credentials include income and credit history.
Students have to submit a supporting letter from the college to the bank to get the required loan amount.
The college will not provide any loans to a candidate. It will only provide the supporting letter to the candidate for taking the loan.

AIEED SAT Admission Process 2025
The candidates willing to take the AIEED 2025 exam must be well aware of the admission process followed. The admission in the ARCH College of Design & Business is done through the online written test. Following this, the candidates are allotted the seats based on their merit rank in the entrance examination.
Step 1: Complete the Registration
The first steps towards the application process are to complete the registration process. The details steps must be followed to have a successful submission. Upload the required documents in scanned format and in the given dimensions. After this, make the payment online via Internet banking/ debit card/ credit card.
Step 2: Download the SAT Admit Card
After the candidate has complete the application process, they shall be allotted their online test date. The applicants must then download the AIEED admit card 2025 from the official website, which will be made available just three days before the scheduled date.
Step 3: Attempt the SAT Exam
Take the exam with full confidence and preparation. The exam is held in two phases. However, one must note that the Phase 2 exam is conducted only if there is any seat available after the Phase 1 admission ends. The exam will be held in three slots and applicants are free to choose any of them as per their choice and preference. The AIEED SAT exam time slots are as follows:
Exam Slot 1: 10 am to 1 pm

Exam Slot 3: 6 pm to 9 pm
Step 4: Appear for Interview and Portfolio Round
The shortlisted candidates will only be called for the Personal Interview and Portfolio round. The task given and the candidate's responsibilities are as follows:

Candidates failing to appear for an interview session will not be considered for admission. Their applications will be cancelled. Step 5: AIEED SAT Result Declaration
The commission will release the AIEED result 2025 on its official website a few days after the exam is conducted successfully. The result will be prepared based on three parameters, as follows:

AIEED SAT 2025 Eligibility
Candidates aspiring to take up the AIEED Exam to pursue courses in design must fulfil the following criteria. The criteria are divided as per the course taken by the candidate.
AIEED UG Eligibility
Interested aspirants should have passed or appeared for Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or as approved by UGC guidelines) to take AIEED 2025 . Moreover, candidates appearing in the 10+1 class exam can also appear for the AIEED exam. But those candidates can join only after clearing the 3rd and last stage of the test.
AIEED PG Eligibility
Candidates willing to do a postgraduate program in design must have completed a UG degree from a recognized university or college.
AIEED Registration 2025
To register for the exam, you can visit the official website and fill in the relevant details on the application form. After filling the registration form, the candidates must pay INR 3000 as the application fee through Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.
Steps to Fill out the AIEED SAT Application Form 2025
The steps to complete the AIEED 2025 registration are as follows:
- Step 1: Complete the registration process.
- Step 2: Select the course and campus where you want to take admission.
- Step 3: Next, fill in all the personal and academic details.
- Step 4: After that, you have to upload the documents in the application form.
- Step 5: Finally, pay the application fee.
Structure of the AIEED Exam
The exam ideally takes place in three different stages. It generally comprises of General Aptitude Test, Creative Aptitude Test and Personal Interaction or Interview.
Stage 1 - GAT
Firstly, students have to apply for the exam by making a video introducing themselves, and it must only be submitted online. This video must be submitted at least 7 days before the exam.
Also, there will be a General Aptitude Test (GAT). In this GAT, candidates will be tested on the following parameters: Design sensibilities, Logical Reasoning, design-related awareness, awareness of global issues, & Concept comprehension.
Stage 2 - CAT
The next exam that candidates must attend is the Creative Aptitude Test (CAT). Candidates have to express their creative skills in this test and the following aspects would be tested.
- Articulation Skills, both written & visual
- Design Thinking
- Lateral Thinking & creative problem solving
- Awareness of Design Principles
Stage 3 - Personal Interaction
In the interview, skills like Composure, Focus & clarity, General Articulation skills, depth of thinking, and range of work in the given portfolio will be tested.
AIEED SAT 2025 Admit Card
The admit card for the phases will be released a week before the scheduled exam date. The applicants are advised to enter their registration number and password to access it. The admit card will be released online. One must make sure to carry it to the AIEED SAT exam centre along with the required documents. AIEED SAT 2025 Exam Centre

AIEED SAT 2025 Counselling
The ARCH College of Design & Business will conduct the personal interaction round after the examination ends. Only candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for the PIPR round. The candidates must submit their documents and other formalities as per the requirement. The candidates will be allotted the seats as per their rank in the final merit. Once the seat is allotted, the applicants need to pay the fee to to confirm their seat. If the seat confirmation fee is not submitted, the seat will be provided to the next candidate in row.
