AP DEECET 2023 counselling provisional seat allotment result for round 2 has been declared on Aug 20, 2023. Candidates can download their admission letter from the official website at apdeecet.apcfss.in. They have to provide their login credentials such as the candidate ID and date of birth. The final admission letter for AP DEECET 2023 will be issued after the document verification by Aug 24, 2023. Classes will commence on Aug 30, 2023

AP DEECET 2023 Counselling Procedure

The official authorities will be conducting the AP DEECET web counselling 2023 in 5 stages. Students can follow the steps given below to help them through the process.

  • Web Options Submission: Candidates must submit their preferences of colleges online mode.
  • View Seat Allotment List: Once done exercising the web options, the seat allotment list will be visible. Students must view the provisional seats available in the various colleges.
  • Issue of Provisional Letter: Selected applicants will be issued provisional letters for admission to the different colleges.
  • Certificate Authentication: Candidates must report to the authorized venues for certificate verification.
  • Admission Fee Payment: To complete the process, candidates must pay the fee for the specific course they wish to take admission in.

AP DEECET 2023 Seat Allotment

As per the Convener’s decision, the seats in Government DIETs will be occupied by candidates securing a rank in the AP DEECET 2023. The remaining of the procedure will be according to the conditions given below.

  • Seats assigned to un-aided institutions will be divided into category A and B.
  • Category A’s seats will be 80% of the total seats.
  • Category B’s seats will be 20% of the total seats.
  • 20% of seats will be for candidates that had their names on the general merit list.

How to Submit Options During AP DEECET 2023 Web Options?

  • Step 1: Fill in the journal number, hall ticket number, date of birth in the required fields.
  • Step 1: Choose the district and college from the dropdown list.

AP DEECET 2023 Reservation of Seats

The regulations regarding seat reservations will be according to the government's instructions. The following cases will fall under the PCP reservation quota.

Blind (PCP Blind)

The prerequisites that determine the reservation of seats in this category are as follows.

  • Complete absence of sight.
  • Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60, 20/200 in the better eye using correcting lenses.
  • Limitation to the field of vision sub standing an angle of 20 or adverse.

Hearing Impaired (PCP Deaf)

The students with the following conditions are eligible for the reserved seats.

  • Sense of hearing loss for ordinary life purposes.
  • Cannot hear sounds even at amplified volumes.
  • Having loss of more than 90 decibels in the better ear (profound impairment, complete loss hearing loss in both ears).

Orthopaedically Handicapped (PCP-Ortho)

The conditions that decide whether a candidate is eligible for seat reservation category are as given below.

  • Having physical 40% defect.
  • Deformity causing hindrance to the functioning of bones, joints, and muscles.

Reservation for Defense Personnel

Reservations are applicable for ex-service personnel, working defence personnel, border security forces, central reserve police forces residing in Andhra Pradesh. These reservations apply to their children and spouses as well.
