Aggregate At least 50% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent for general category candidates and at least 45% aggregate in case the candidates belong to backward class categories or persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only.
Lateral Entry The candidate should have passed a bachelor’s degree in Computer applications or science (Information technology or computer science).

MAH MCA CET Eligibility for Lateral Entry Admission

Test takers who do not fulfill the required eligibility criteria will not get admission into the MAH MCA CET program. Mentioned below is the lateral entry admission for one year and the direct second year.

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or graduation level with Mathematics as one of their main subjects.
  • Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before heading towards the MAH MCA CET 2024 Application Process.
  • Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree (3 years) in any discipline from any recognized university and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Candidates who belong to the backward category and PwD category in Maharashtra State only must secure at least 45% aggregate.
  • Aspirants can apply for the MAH MCA CET 2024 exam who are still in the final year of the qualifying exam.
  • The eligibility criteria are the same as for first-year admission, except the candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in computer application (BCA) or B.Sc. in (CS, IT) from any recognized university.
  • Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate bachelor's degree in computer application (BCA) or B.Sc. in (CS, IT) from any recognized university.
  • Candidates who belong to the backward category and PwD category in Maharashtra State should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

Required Caste Certificate

Aspirants under the given category must produce the caste certificate from the competent authority as mentioned below.

  • Candidates belonging to SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC, and SBC categories should submit a "Caste Validity Certificate" issued by the scrutiny committee of the social welfare department.
  • Candidates belonging to the ST category should produce a "Tribe Validity Certificate" issued by the scrutiny committee of the tribal departments.

Disabilities come under the PwD category

The following are the disabilities that fall under the PwD category.

  • Visually Impaired: The visually impaired candidates are those candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected permanently for some reason and who can use their scribe at their cost during the online examination.
  • Locomotors Disability: The candidates whose dominant (writing) extremity is affected to the extent of slowing the performance of the function(minimum of 40% impairment).
