NCHMCT JEE eligibility criteria 2025 have been decided by NTA. For a candidate to get admission through NCHMCT JEE 2025 exam, they need to have certain eligibility on particular details such as age limit, educational qualification, category, Nationality, and other things.

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
NCHMCT JEE 2025 eligibility criteria have been divided into three sections, i.e., Education, Age limit, and Physical fitness. Candidates must meet the criteria from these sections to be eligible for the exam. All aspects of NCHMCT JEE eligibility have been discussed below.
NCHMCT JEE 2025 Education Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with English as a mandatory subject from a recognized Board of Education. Candidates Should have passed the Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- Candidates must have passed General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level and must possess High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
- Any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
- Candidates Should have passed the HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state.
- Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects, including English as one of Subjects, which should be available up to Sep 30, 2025.
- Final Class: Candidates pursuing their final exam of class 12th are also eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE with a valid certificate for proof.
NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Age Limit
- For the General and OBC category candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years as of Jul 1, 2025. Candidates born on or after Jul 1, 1998, are eligible. The upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is 28 years as of Jul 1, 2025, i.e. SC/ST candidates born on or after Jul 1, 1995, are eligible.
- The upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category they belong to, i.e. General/ SC/ ST/ OBC.
- Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/ Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof accepted.
- Original certificates must be produced at the time of counselling.
NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Physical Fitness
- A physical fitness certificate has to be produced by the candidates during the time of admission.
Note: The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/ documents at the time of admission. If any candidate is found ineligible later, even after admission to an Institute, their admission will stand cancelled.

NCHMCT JEE Reservation of Seats 2025
The reservations for the admission seats for different categories are listed below.

Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe | For the SC and ST categories, 15% and 7.5% seats, respectively, are reserved in Central and State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. |
Other Backward Class | 27% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy Layer) whose name is listed in Central Govt. OBC list for admission in Central Govt. Institutes of Hotel Management only. |
Physically Disabled | 5% of seats across the board are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates in all Central & State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. |
Reservation of Kashmiri Migrants | One seat (Supernumerary) in each Central and State Government affiliated IHM is provided for Registered Kashmiri Migrants. |
