RPVT 2023 eligibility criteria are set by the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) released the eligibility criteria to appear for the RPVT 2023 examination. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to sit for the examination. Clearing the RPVT examination does not guarantee admission to the university and affiliated colleges, students should also fall under the required criteria. Domicile The candidates should be Indian National and should belong to the Rajasthan Domicile only.
Age Limit The candidates should be at least 17 years of age at the time of applying for the exam and the maximum age is 25 years. Age as on December 31, 2023. The age relaxation for the reserved category is 5 years.
Educational Qualification The candidate must have qualified 12th examination with Biology or Biotechnology, Physics, English, and Chemistry from a recognized university.
Qualifying Marks

General Categories: 50%; Reserved Category: 47.5%

  • To be eligible for appearing in the RPVT 2023 examination, the Unreserved & EWS category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English at Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent recognized qualifying examination. For the candidates of SC, ST, OBC (NCL) & MBC (NCL) categories, this marks requirement will be 47.5% in the subjects mentioned above in the qualifying examination.

Rajasthan Domicile Criteria

It is important to note that only candidates belonging to Rajasthan State will be eligible for RPVT 2023 examination. Candidates must possess the digitally issued Rajasthan Domicile Certificate. Thus, the candidate domicile of State(s) other than Rajasthan, if appears/qualifies in RPVT-2023, inadvertently will not be considered for admission on any seat in the RAJUVAS, Bikaner constituent or affiliated private veterinary colleges. 

Note: The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Examination marksheet will be considered authentic for the RPVT admission purpose.
