TS SET Exam 2024 Eligibility

TS SET notification 2024 mentions the eligibility criteria regarding age restriction and educational background for the recruitment drive, as determined by the hiring authority. Candidates preparing for the Telangana State eligibility test must meet the age restriction, academic credentials, and other requirements.

TS SET Educational Qualification 

In terms of TS SET 2024 notification requirements, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have at least 55% (without rounding off) in their Master's Degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA, and M.Tech (CSE & IT only). 
• Candidates from the Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories who have obtained at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's Degree are eligible for this test.
• Candidates undertaking a Master's Degree degree, candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master's Degree (final year) examination and whose results are still pending.
• Such candidates, however, will be admitted provisionally and considered eligible for Assistant Professor / Lecturer after passing their Master's Degree examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in the case of BC/SC/ST/PWD (Persons with Disability) category candidates). 
• Such candidates must complete their Master's Degree examination within two years of the TS SET result date, with the required percentage of marks; otherwise, they will be disqualified.

TS SET Age Limit 

There is no upper age limit for the candidates to appear for the Telangana State Eligibility Test.
