WB ANM GNM exam pattern 2024 has been released by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The board will hold the exam offline using an OMR sheet, with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions with 1 and 2 marks from different categories, respectively. WBJEE ANM GNM Marking Scheme
WB ANM GNM marking scheme 2024 will be slightly different for both Category 1 and 2 questions, which are presented below for your reference.
- The exam will be administered in OMR format, including multiple choice questions (MCQs).
- Category 1 questions will have only one correct answer, whereas Category 2 questions will have numerous valid answers.
- The paper has a total time of 1.5 hours.
- The questions will be in both English and Bengali (except Basic English and Logical Reasoning).
WB ANM GNM Exam Pattern 2024: Questions for Category 1
- Only one of the options is correct.
- Each correct response will earn one (one) point for each question.
- Incorrect responses will result in - ¼ (25% negative) marks per question.
- Combining multiple options, even if it includes the correct option, will result in - ¼ (negative ¼) marks and be considered incorrect.
- Not attempting the question will result in a 0 mark.
WB ANM GNM Exam Pattern 2024: Questions for Category 2
- One or more options are accurate.
- Marking all correct alternatives will result in 2 (two) marks for each question.
- Suppose any combination of replies contains one or more erroneous options. In that case, the answer will be classified as incorrect and will receive a zero (0) mark, even if one or more of the selected option(s) is/are valid.
- Marks granted for partially correct answers, i.e., when all correct alternatives are not marked and no incorrect options are indicated, are calculated as 2 x (the number of correct options marked / the total number of correct options).
- Failure to attempt the question will result in a 0 mark.
