SOF International English Olympiad results are declared usually eight weeks after the IEO examination. Students can download the SOF IEO exam result from the SOF official website or request their respective schools for the SOF IEO results.

SOF IEO Result 2024-25
Science Olympiad foundation releases the result for the International English Olympiad on its official website every year. Students can check the results of the IEO exam on the SOF official website. Students will need to enter their credentials to check the SOF IEO results in 2024. Schools who have registered through school can also request their school for the result.
- Online- Students have to check their results online. All the students' whether they have done the registration through their school or as an individual, can check the IEO result online.
- Through school - the student who has registered through school can also request their respective school coordinator for the result of the IEO Olympiad 2024-25.

How to Check IEO Results?
Students who want to check their results through online mode have to follow certain steps. To check the IEO results, candidates must have their roll number with them.
Steps to check IEO 2024-25 results are given below.
- Go to the official website of SOF.
- On the SOF home page, click on the "SOF Results."
- Click on the SOF IEO and select level 1/level 2 results.
- Select IEO level 1/level 2 results in dropbox and enter the required details.
- Then enter the details in the given format, i.e. (your school code- class-section-Roll no).
- The results will be displayed on the screen.
- Students can save the IEO result or can take the print for future reference.
Note: Students won't receive the IEO 2024-25 results by post. But, SOF will send the IEO school-wise result to all the registered schools via e-mail.
SOF IEO Cut Off
The cutoff marks are class-wise. If total marks are the same for more than one student, marks obtained section-wise will determine the qualifiers to level 2.

SOF IEO Level 2 Cutoff
The SOF IEO level 2 syllabus and exam pattern is the same as the IEO level exam. But the difficulty level in the SOF IEO level 2 exam is higher than the level 2 exam.

SOF IEO Criteria for Qualification
Students will qualify for the level 2 English Olympiad if they fulfill the criteria from level 1.
Mentioned below are the SOF IEO level 2 qualifications.
- Top 5% of students class-wise based on the level 1 exam.
- Top 25 rank holders for each zone/state in each class.
- In each school, at least 10 students from a class should have scored at least 50% marks.

SOF IEO Ranking Criteria
In the case of the same marks, some of the below-mentioned SOF IEO ranking criteria are followed for each level.
SOF IEO Level 1 Ranking Criteria
For IEO, ranks 1 and 2 will be decided by the following criteria mentioned below.
- Marks were obtained in the exam.
- If marks scored are the same for two or more students, SOF will determine the positions based on marks scored in sections granted more priority.
- If, in the case of a tie, marks scored by a student in a previous class will be considered to determine rank.
- If two or more students score the same marks under both the criteria above, SOF will award the same position.
- If there is any confusion, the decision of the academic council will be final & binding.
SOF IEO Level 2 Ranking Criteria
In level 2 exams, SOF will decide the rank based on the total marks in the level 2 English Olympiad.
If more than one student scores the same number of marks, the foundation will determine the positions based on the following criteria,
- Marks scored in sections in the level 2 exam granted higher priority.
- Total marks scored in the level 1 exam.
- Marks scored in parts in the level 1 exam, accorded top priority.
If marks scored are the same for two or more students under all the categories above, then the organization will award the same rank.
