The Central/state government invites applications from financially deprived students by providing them with B.Sc scholarships. It provides financial assistance to the candidates belonging to the weaker society who want to pursue their higher education. Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
The post-matric scholarship for students with disabilities is a scheme that includes scholarships for B.Sc students and was initiated by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. It provides funds to the domiciled students pursuing class 11 to postgraduate degrees (B.Sc and other courses) and belonging to the weaker section of the society. Students with at least 40% disability and annual family earnings of INR 2,50,000 per annum can apply for this scholarship scheme. Depending upon the class/category level, the meritorious students will be recognized with a scholarship amount of INR 4,000. In addition to that, some other beneficiaries for books, stationery, etc will also be granted.

The deadline to apply for the post-matric scholarship for students with disabilities 2023 is yet to be released.

KVPY Scholarship
The Department of Science and Technology (DST) promotes the KVPY scholarships and aims to provide monetary assistance to applicants. The students pursuing class 11 to postgraduate level (including B.Sc/ B.Math/ B.Stats/ Int. M.S. or Int M.Sc) can apply for this scholarship scheme. To be suitable for this particular scholarship scheme, the candidate must clear all the required exams. The worthy candidates will be rewarded with INR 28,000 per annum.

POSE (Promotion of Science Education) Scholarship
POSE (Promotion of Science Education) scholarship is an initiative offered by the Science and Technology Department, Haryana, to encourage meritorious students in basic and natural science. It furnishes funds to the impoverished students pursuing undergraduate/ postgraduate courses in B.Sc Honours and M.Sc degrees. The students must clear all the examinations with the stipulated cutoffs for being eligible. The deserving candidates will be rewarded with a scholarship amount of up to INR 22,000 based on their degree/ courses.

Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship
The Narotam Sekhsaria scholarship is a scheme commenced by the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation. It provides interest-free loans to meritorious students pursuing postgraduate degrees in Indian and International universities. The candidates should be not over 30 years of age and should have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a known university to satisfy the B.Sc scholarship’s eligibility criteria. Also, the deserving candidates will get a chance to work on a mentorship program.

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship
The HDFC bank has proposed the HDFC bank parivartan’s ECS scholarship for the underprivileged students of the society. With the help of the government, the scholarship provides financial assistance to the students studying in class 6 to postgraduate level (which includes professional courses such as BBA/ B.Tech/ BCA/ B.Sc, or non-professional courses such as B.A./ B.com/ M.A., etc.) with the basic aim of reducing the dropouts in the academic session. To be eligible, the candidates must have obtained 55% marks and an annual family income not higher than INR 2,50,000. Maximum benefits up to INR 75,000 can be availed on selection.

The deadline for the HDFC bank parivartan’s ECS scholarship is March 15, 2023.

Merck India Charitable Trust (MICT) Scholarship Program
The Merck India Charitable Trust (MICT) scholarship program is a scheme that provides B.Sc scholarships and is offered by Merck India to the students settled in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Bengaluru. It offers financial support to students studying in class 11 to graduation level. They must score at least 80% marks in the SSC exam and have an annual family remuneration of INR 20,000 per month to fulfil the B.Sc scholarship’s eligibility criteria. In addition, the deserving candidates will get financial support of INR 35,000 to sponsor their educational expenses.

The last date for applying to the Merck India Charitable Trust (MICT) scholarship program is January 15, 2023.

INSPIRE Scholarship
The INSPIRE scholarship was initiated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the government of India. It provides monetary grants to the students pursuing their academic career in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Basic and Natural Sciences for a maximum of 5 years. The candidate should be 17 to 22 years of age to fulfil the B.Sc scholarship’s eligibility criteria. In addition, the top 10,000 rank holders in the JEE exams will be rewarded with a scholarship amount of INR 80,000 for their educational expenses.

The last date for the INSPIRE scholarship application is January 31, 2023.

Santoor Scholarship
The Santoor scholarship is an offer that incorporates the scholarships for B.Sc students and is conducted by the Wipro Consumer Care, and Wipro Cares to the girl students residing in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana. The scholarship provides financial assistance to the girl students pursuing their academic careers at the graduation level (including Humanities, Liberal Arts, etc). They should clear their class 10 and 12 with an outstanding score from a well-known university. The deserving candidates will get a scholarship amount of INR 24,000 per annum to cover tuition fees and other expenses.

Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Programme
The Dhirubhai Ambani scholarship program is proposed by the Reliance Foundation for the meritorious and differently-abled students of the economically weaker section. It offers financial assistance to the students studying at the graduation level (including Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Pharmacy, etc.). The students should be enrolled for the diploma/ degree courses in a known university with an annual income of INR 4,50,000 to be acceptable for the B.Sc scholarship’s eligibility criteria. However, there are no criteria that needs to be met for differently-abled students. The deserving candidates will get a scholarship amount of INR 41,000 per annum. The scholarship amount may differ between the class/category levels of the courses.

The last date to apply for the Dhirubhai Ambani scholarship program is August 31, 2023 (tentatively).

IGCAR Junior Research Fellowship
The Indira Gandhi Centre of Atomic Research (IGCAR) invites applications for the IGCAR junior research fellowship, including other B.Sc scholarships. It offers a research program to the meritorious students in Physical, Chemical, Material, and Engineering Science courses. To benefit from the B.Sc scholarship scheme, the students should be in the final year program, which includes M.Sc/ B.E./ B.Tech/ B.S. or B.Sc Engineering, to benefit from the B.Sc scholarship scheme. Also, they must score at least 55% marks in their previous qualifying examination. The maximum age of the applicants must be 28 years. However, age relaxation of up to 3 years for OBC students, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for differently-abled will be granted. A maximum amount of up to INR 40,000 p.a can be availed upon selection.

Step 2: The candidates registering for the first time must register themselves.
Step 3: After successful registration, log in with the provided credentials.
Step 4: Click on the apply now button given on the scholarship page and start the scholarship application process.
Step 5: The applicants must provide the relevant details in the B.Sc scholarship form.
Step 6: Transmit all the necessary documents.
Step 7: Then, take a preview of the details filled.
