MHT CET 2023 Result Tie-Breaking Criteria

Sometimes two or more candidates get the same score on the exam. So, to assign ranks to students who have the same marks, the exam board employs tie-breaking rules. 

The conditions followed by CET CELL Maharashtra to resolve existing ties and assign positions to students based on the MHT CET Result 2023 are:

1. Students scoring higher in maths on the MHT CET exam will be given first attention.
2. Students with higher marks on the MHT CET Physics exam will be prioritized next.
3. More chemistry marks will be prioritized next.
4. Students with a higher proportion of marks in the board or comparable qualifying exams in physics, chemistry, and maths will be given the next priority.
5. Students who scored higher in math on the HSC exam will be prioritized next.
6. Higher marks in the HSC physics exams will be prioritized.
7. Students with a higher proportion of aggregate marks at the HSC will be given priority.
