Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling will begin after the announcement of the NEET Result 2024 for the academic year 2024-25. NEET 2024 results has been declared on June 14, 2024 post which the Tamil Nadu NEET counselling will begin tentatively in August 2024.
The authorities will release the seat allotment results of MBBS and BDS courses for stray vacancy round counselling on the official website. The NEET Counselling 2024 for Tamil Nadu is required for applicants who wish to enroll in MBBS and BDS courses under the state quota system in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2024 Application Process
There are many steps to follow in the application process for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2024. The counselling process will proceed as follows.
- All applicants must complete the online application form by entering all relevant details
- After filling out the online application form, candidates will have to download the form before the due date and submit the hard copy by post or courier or in person to the address- secretary, selection committee, directorate of medical education, 162, Periyar e.v.r. High road, Kilpauk, Chennai – 600 010
- Candidates have the option of paying the registration fee offline or online. Candidates who prefer to pay offline must do so by sending DD made out to the above-mentioned address
- Candidates should check the rank list that will only be available on the official website after the online registration process. The list will be made public based on the candidates' scores
- All of the candidates who have been shortlisted in the first round of counselling will be notified based on the rank list. Candidates must download the call letter from the institute's official website to participate in the counselling round

Age Requirements

- Also, candidates from a reserved category, such as SC, ST, or OBC, must receive at least 40% of the total marks.
- PWD candidates must earn 45% of their possible marks.
