1. BCECE

The BCECE Board is responsible for administer the state-level Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, also known as the BCECE. Students who pass this test can enroll in the B.Sc. (Agriculture) programs offered by many colleges in the state of Bihar. It is one of the agriculture entrance exams held once a year. 

Candidates who passed 12th from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects.

2. ICAR

The list of agriculture entrance exams also includes ICAR AIEEEA test conducted by the NTA. It is a national-level entrance exam held for undergraduate and graduate agriculture programs.

An applicant must have graduated with a required degree. The minimum score required for the General, OBC, OBC, and EWS categories is 60%. For the ST/SC and PwD categories, a minimum of 55% is needed.

3. MHT CET

MHT CET also known as Maharashtra Health & Technical Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharastra. It is a state-level entrance exam for students who want to pursue higher studied in Technical Education/ Dairy Technology/ Fisheries Science/ Agricultural courses. MHT CET is one of the most popular agriculture entrance exams. 

Students must have passed the class 12th from a recognized board in a science stream with at least 50% marks.

4. KEAM

KEAM also known as the Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical (KEAM 2023) is a state-level entrance test for students who want to pursue higher studies in engineering and agriculture. KEAM is considered to be one of the most famous agriculture entrance exams.

Students must have completed the 10+2 from a recognized board in a science stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

5. OUAT

Another prominent agriculture entrance exams is OUAT. Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) entrance examination helps students to get into the desired postgraduate, undergraduate, or special courses. Students appearing for OUAT can get admission to various courses in agriculture, veterinary, horticulture, animal husbandry, agriculture engineering, fishery science, etc.

6. LPUNEST

LPUNEST is one of the top agriculture entrance exams for applicants. Also known as the Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test, it is a university-level examination by which students can get admission to several agriculture, engineering and other programs offered by LPU.

Candidates must have completed the grade 12 or an equivalent exam with at least 60% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English as their subjects.

7. AAU VET

Assam Agricultural University conducts AAU VET which is a well-known popular agriculture entrance exams. It is a state-level examination held annually for students seeking admission to UG courses like Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. 

Candidates must have successfully completed the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/ Agriculture/ Forestry from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (for general/ OBC/ UPS categories) and 40% marks in aggregate (for SC/ ST/ categories).

8. AGRICET

One more popular agriculture entrance exams is AGRICET. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University for students who want to pursue Organic Farming, Seed Technology, and Agriculture. 

The candidate must have successfully completed two years of diploma program at Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University or Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or Organic Farming.

9. BHU UET

Banaras Hindu University organises BHU UET which is regarded as one of the top agriculture entrance exams. Students seeking admission to various UG courses must appear for the BHU UET exam. 

Candidate must pass the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry plus any one of the following Biology, Maths or Agriculture.

10. JCECE 

Another popular that comes under the list of agriculture entrance exams is JCECE Entrance exam. It is a state-level examination conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Students seeking admission to medical, engineering, and agriculture courses must appear for the exam.

Students must have completed the 10+2 with at least 45% marks from a recognized board and have Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology as an optional subject.
