About BCECE Exam

The full form of BCECE is the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. It is a state-level examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) to allow students admission into undergraduate programs in prestigious colleges and universities of Bihar in medical, engineering, and agriculture streams. The BCECE Bihar exam is also known as the Bihar CET.

The BCECEB was established in 1995 under the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act. BCECE Bihar is one of the most prominent examinations in India that encourages thousands of brilliant students across the country to pursue higher education in the top-notch colleges of Bihar.

The admissions to Engineering and Medical courses will also be done based on the score obtained in the exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which means the JEE Main 2025 and NEET 2025 scores of the candidates will be considered for admission into Engineering and Medical courses, respectively.

Candidates who will be included in the merit list of the JEE Main or NEET 2025 will be eligible to apply for the BCECE 2025 counselling process.

BCECE 2025 Application Form

The BCECE application form has been released on Apr 09, 2025. Candidates willing to appear for the BCECE exam must register for the exam within the deadline prescribed, i.e. May 06, 2025 and pay the application fee by May 07, 2025, or else their application will not be considered valid.

Candidates will also be provided with a BCECE application form correction window to rectify any mistakes made during the filling up of the application form from May 08 to May 09, 2025 (till 11:59 PM). However, only a few details can be rectified, including names, email addresses and phone numbers etc.

Candidates must visit the official website of BCECEB @bceceboard.bihar.gov.in to register for the BCECE exam 2025. They will have to provide educational, domicile, personal, categorical and other information when filling out the BCECE 2025 application form. Steps to Apply for BCECE 2025

Candidates were advised to follow the steps mentioned below to apply for BCECE 2025:

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of the BCECE 2025 exam and click on the "Apply on BCECE 2025" link.
• Step 2: To register, candidates must complete the online registration form and provide a valid email ID and mobile number. Candidates will be sent an activation code on their registered mobile number. After candidates input the activation code in the field provided, they must sign in using their registered email and password.
• Step 3: Next, candidates must fill in their details and click "Save & Next".
• Step 4: After that, candidates must upload a signature and photograph and click "Save & Next".
• Step 5: The next step will be to review the BCECE 2025 application form. Candidates can review the information they have filled out in the steps mentioned above and finally tick the "Declaration" checkbox.
• Step 6: The last step will be the BCECE 2025 application fee payment. Candidates will be able to pay the fee in online or offline modes. After that, they can download their completed form, which they can preserve for future use.

BCECE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses

Candidates applying for PCM courses can check the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• General and OBC candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks in 10+2, and SC/ST candidates should obtain at least 40% marks to be eligible to apply for the BCECE 2025 exam.
• Candidates should also have Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology as an optional subject to apply for the BCECE 2025 exam.

Nationality: Aspirants who are planning to appear for the BCECE 2025 exam must be citizens of India.

Age: There is no prescribed age limit to apply for BCECE 2025. But it is understood that passing Class 12 is essential to be eligible to apply.

BCECE 2025 Eligibility Criteria For Pharmacy Courses

Candidates who are interested in applying for PCB courses are advised to check the following eligibility criteria for BCECE pharmacy courses:

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates who are interested in applying for Pharmacy courses should have qualified 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects.
• Candidates who are appearing for the 10+2 can also apply. But they should be able to produce the passing certificate of 10+2 at the time of admission for BCECE 2025.

Nationality: Aspirants who are planning to appear for the BCECE 2025 exam must be citizens of India.

Age: There is no prescribed age limit to apply. However, it is understood that passing Class 12 is essential to be eligible to apply for the BCECE 2025 exam.

Residential Specifications for Candidates

Candidates who satisfy the following requirements are eligible to attempt the BCECE 2025 exam:

• Candidates whose parents are residents of the state of Bihar. OR,
• Candidates whose parents are unarmed refugees in Bihar. OR,
• Candidates whose parents are from other states but are employees of the Govt. of Bihar. OR,
• Candidates whose parents are employees of the former Govt. of Bihar whose cadre has not been divided yet, and those whose post is still transferable in Bihar/Jharkhand. OR,
• Candidates whose parents are Govt. of India employees posted in Bihar or employees of Government of India-run factories or institutions located in Bihar (PSU of Govt of India).

The BCECE 2025 admit card will be released on the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in on May 24, 2025, and will be available till the exam day. Candidates must bring their BCECE admit card 2025 to the examination hall on the day of the examination, or else their entry will be prohibited.

If a candidate finds any mistake in their admit card, then they can report it to the official authorities five days before the commencement of the exam and get the error rectified. BCECE 2025 Counselling

Candidates who qualify for the BCECE result 2025 and meet the required BCECE cutoff are called for BCECE 2025 counselling rounds. Since counselling is based on merit and BECE 2025 ranks, candidates with good marks are eligible to get admission to the college they choose and the course they wish to opt for.

The authorities will also announce a special round of BCECE counselling on the official website @bceceboard.bihar.gov.in if the seats remain vacant even after the allocation during the first two rounds. Candidates can submit a letter of willingness to participate in this round.

The candidates who are not allotted seats in the BCECE counselling rounds 1 and 2, or remain absent during the process can participate in this round. Moreover, candidates who are allotted seats, but do not report to colleges can also participate during the document verification process of the special round.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the special round of the BCECE counselling 2025:

• Step 1: First candidates must visit the official website @bcece.admissions.nic.in.
• Step 2: On the official website, they must click on the link stating "Willingness for BCECE-2025 (PCM / PCM of PCMB Group) Special Counselling".
• Step 3: Candidates will be redirected to a new page where they must click on "Submit Willingness" to participate in the BCECE special counselling round.
• Step 4: Next, they must select the preferences for the colleges and courses, after which they are given provisional allotment to these colleges and courses based on the BCECE 2025 cut-off score.
• Step 5: This is followed by a process of handwriting verification. Only completing this step would lead to a candidate qualifying for the final seat allotment.
• Step 6: Finally, document verification is done for the candidate, and seats are allotted.
