The candidates are required to prepare for three subjects, viz. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in great detail with each concept being crystal clear. The candidates are tested on their problem-solving skills within a limited time.

JEE Main session 1 Paper 1 was conducted on January 22,23,24,28, and 29 and Paper 2 was conducted on January 30.
