- Photograph: Applicants must upload their photo in jpg.jpeg format and the size should be within 10 to 200 KB.
- Signature: Candidates need to upload their scanned signature with a dimension of 3.5 cm width and 1.5 cm height. The size should be within 4 to 30 KB in jpg.jpeg format.

JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main Exam Centres 2025
JEE Main NTA exam will be conducted in 284 centres in India and 15 centres outside India. NTA has introduced new exam centres in various states such as Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, etc to increase the accessibility for the candidates appearing for the exam.

JEE Main JoSAA Counselling 2025
JEE Main 2025 counselling process will be conducted by JoSAA, tentatively on Jun 03, 2025. The counselling schedule will be released on the official website at josaa.nic.in.
The candidates need to meet the eligibility conditions laid out by the institute to which they want admission. In addition, they should secure a minimum of 75% marks in their 12th standard board examination or be one among the top 20 percentile in their All India Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent.

JEE Main applicants must specify the type and percentage of their disability accurately in the online form for the JEE Main 2025.
- Scribe/Reader: JEE Main 2025 applicants who have a disability that exceeds the 39% mark have the discretion of opting for a scribe or a reader. Candidates may submit the request to the JEE Main exam centre superintendent for the same.
- Essentials for Reader or Scribe: Once the request is made, the JEE Main centre superintendent will identify the scribe/reader. The candidate would be permitted to meet the scribe one day before to JEE Main 2025 examination to verify the scribe's suitability.
- The NTA has released guidelines for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) to extend their exam duration to four hours extending the exam duration to an additional one hour.
JEE 2025 Slot Booking
JEE Main slot booking 2025 process is not available for the registered students. Currently, no candidates are allowed to book slots manually. The exam date and time are scheduled by the NTA.
The exam centres are allotted as per the preferences chosen by the students during the registration process. JEE Main admit card are issued to all the registered candidates and it includes exam date, duration, shift, exam centre details, and more.

- Reduction in Number of Sessions for JEE Main: Candidates can expect a reduction/change in the number of attempts for JEE Main 2025; NTA is most likely to consider this change concerning the COVID-19 situation. However, no official information was announced.
- Changes in Exam Pattern for JEE Main: NTA changed the exam pattern of JEE Main in 2025 by increasing the total number of questions per subject in JEE Main paper 1 and allowing internal choices within the questions. Any further information related to the changes in JEE Main 2025 will be given in the brochure.
