The JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip will be released on Jan 12, 2025 by the conducting authorities. JEE Main 2025 registration process for session 1 began on Oct 28, 2024, and the last date to apply was Nov 22, 2024. The application form correction window closed on Nov 27, 2024.
JEE Main 2025 exam dates for session 1 and session 2 have been announced by the National Testing Agency. The JEE Main Session 1 2025 will be held from Jan 22-31, 2025 while Session 2 will be conducted between Apr 01-08, 2025.

National Testing Agency (NTA) was developed as an autonomous, specialist, and self-sustained testing organization responsible for conducting entrance examinations for admission to top educational institutions.
The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and Government of India are accountable for conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) since 2019. The participating institute list for JEE Main 2025 is made available by NTA in 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The list of participating institutes includes the names of all the institutions that would accept applications based on JEE Main 2025 results.

How to Download JEE Main 2025 Admit Card?
JEE Main Hall Ticket 2025 will not be sent to any candidate's residential address. Instead, candidates need to download it through the official website. The steps for the same are shared below.
- Step 1: Candidates must go to the NTA JEE Main's 2025 official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Step 2: They must find the "Download admit card" link on the homepage, and click on it.
- Step 3: Applicants will now be directed to a login link.
- Step 4: They must enter their application numbers, date of birth, password, and security PIN correctly.
- Step 5: The candidates can now view and download their JEE Main 2025 hall tickets.
- Step 6: They must cross-check all the details on the admit card before downloading it.
JEE Main 2025 Self Declaration
The candidates must complete and carry the self-declaration form on the day of the examination. The JEE Main Self Declaration Form is printed on the JEE Main admit card's first page, which contains the details of the candidate's health status and travel history.
The candidates are required to declare the following details.
- Details of any symptoms of cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat, runny nose, or body ache in the last 14 days.
- Information regarding any contact with a COVID-19-positive person in the last 14 days.
- Information regarding any travel history in the last 14 days.
JEE Main Exam Centres 2025
Candidates for session 1 JEE Main Paper 1 and 2 could access their exam city slip on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates registered for the JEE Mains 2025 exam were able to download the advance city intimation slip using the login credentials generated at the time of registration.
NTA had revised the JEE Main exam centres 2025 list. As per the latest notification, JEE Main exam centres have been reduced from 394 to 300. Several existing exam cities have been removed from Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, including 2 Union Territories - Chandigarh and Daman & Diu.
JEE Main NTA exam was conducted in 25 foreign cities as NTA added 15 foreign cities as JEE Main exam centres. NTA has introduced 3 more test centres, which are based in India (Kargil, Ladakh) and overseas, at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Abuja/ Lagos in Nigeria. In addition, Abu Dhabi was added as an exam centre after considering the request raised by the Ambassador of India, Abu Dhabi.
JEE Main exam centres 2025 are based in all the major cities across India. However, the candidates may choose up to JEE Main 4 centres where they would prefer to take the exam of JEE Main NIC IN. NTA will make the best efforts to allocate the JEE Main exam centre 2025 in the order of preference.

- Question Type: The first and the second papers will have various Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Drawing is a subjective type of paper.

Section-Wise Exam Pattern for JEE Main 2025 Paper-I (Revised)
The JEE exam has four papers and each subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), and section B will contain questions with numerical values as answers.

JEE Main JoSAA Counselling 2025
JEE Main 2025 counselling process will be conducted by JoSAA. The counselling schedule will be released on the official website at josaa.nic.in.

Provisions for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
JEE Main applicants must specify the type and percentage of their disability accurately in the online form for JEE Main 2025.
- Scribe/Reader: JEE Main 2025 applicants who have a disability that exceeds the 39% mark have the discretion of opting for a scribe or a reader. Candidates may submit the request to the JEE Main exam centre superintendent for the same.
- Essentials for Reader or Scribe: Once the request is made, JEE Main centre superintendent will identify the scribe/reader. The candidate would be permitted to meet the scribe one day before to JEE Main 2025 examination to verify the scribe's suitability.
