KEAM Exam Instructions for Candidates

Here are the instructions for the KEAM exam for all the candidates. Candidates must ensure they follow the instructions:

• All the candidates must maintain social distancing, wear masks, and follow all the KEAM instructions 2024 for thermal scanning at the exam venue.
• Candidates who show or report any physical discomfort, such as any symptoms of fever, cold, and cough, will have to go through special checking and appear for the examination by adhering to the special safety instructions of the Official concerned.
• Further, all the candidates must carry all the necessary items, such as water for drinking and a pen for the examination.
• Under no circumstances will they be allowed to exchange these with any other candidate inside the examination centre.
• Moreover, candidates are supposed to follow the KEAM exam instructions 2024 by the invigilators inside the hall.
• Also, candidates are advised to refrain from crowding the exam hall or the nearby areas during the KEAM exam breaks. Strict social distancing should be observed.
• Additionally, candidates should occupy the seats inside the exam hall and avoid unnecessary chaos.

• Those under quarantine/candidates with symptoms of illness/those who are Covid positive should contact the CEE Representative on the previous day, advise them of the situation, and acquire KEAM exam instructions for reaching the location.
• Furthermore, such candidates and their parents must arrive in specially organised cars, maintain a safe distance from other candidates, and enter the specially arranged examination room by strict safety regulations.
• Parents should leave the examination venue immediately after dropping off these candidates and return after the examination as directed by the venue's CEE Representative.
• All candidates are requested to refrain from gathering near the examination venue or nearby areas by bus. They must avoid overcrowding.
• Lastly, KEAM exam instructions mention that all the used masks and gloves must be disposed of in the allotted area or dustbin after usage.

KEAM Exam Instructions for Parents

The KEAM exam instructions for parents are mentioned below. All parents are requested to abide by the rules and regulations declared by the examination authority.

• Parents are not permitted to enter the examination centre. They must guarantee that candidates follow all safety protocols.
• They should also ensure applicants have items such as a pen, water, masks, and sanitiser.
• Parents should promptly depart the premises after dropping off candidates in front of the venue to avoid traffic congestion.
• Parents are not permitted to cluster in front of the venue or park their vehicles so that they obstruct traffic flow. This must be rigorously adhered to. Crowding in front of the gate is illegal and violates social distancing rules.
• Candidates leaving the site after the examination should be picked up safely from the venue's gate.

KEAM Admit Card Instructions

The candidates will find all the relevant KEAM exam instructions on the admit card's back. The KEAM admit card can be downloaded by visiting the candidate portal, and the instructions mentioned are as follows:

• All the necessary documents to be carried out for the exam will be detailed.
• The admit card will mention the protocols to be followed inside the examination hall.
• Next, the candidate's dress code must be simple and avoid any accessories to avoid extra checking.
• In the admit card, the exam centre details along with the exam location, timing, date, and mode of examination will be mentioned, and candidates have to follow the same.

Documents Required at KEAM 2024 Exam Centre

For KEAM exam day, the candidates have to bring their hall tickets. The other things that need to be carried by the candidates are as follows:

• Card Board/ Clip Board
• Ballpoint Pens (with Black or Blue ink only)
• Any photo ID proof like a PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter's ID Card or Bank Passbook with a photograph.

KEAM 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Applicants should remember certain dos and don'ts when at the exam centre. Further, some of these are also included in the KEAM exam instructions.

Do's

• Candidates must arrive at the examination centre at least an hour to 30 minutes before the exam time. Read through the question paper and then start answering.
• Candidates must go through the COVID protocol and checking mentioned under the KEAM exam day rules.
• Bring all essential documentation, as well as your KEAM admit card.
• Candidates must follow the KEAM code of conduct at all times.
• Only the space specified below in the examination booklet will be used for rough work.

Don'ts

• Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination after 30 minutes of its start.
• No candidate will be allowed into the examination hall if they do not dress properly.
