The Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is organized by Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Candidates who pass the exam are accepted to Engineering/Pharmacy colleges and allied colleges certified by the All India Council for Technical Education for various master’s courses like M.Tech, M. Pharm, and D. Pharm.

Documents Required for AP PGECET 2024 Counselling
The APSCHE will issue the AP PGECET 2024 cutoff soon as the results have already been declared on 8 June 2024. The cutoff varies depending on the institute and the course. Furthermore, the cutoff marks will differ for GATE/GPAT-qualified students and PGECET-certified candidates. Candidates who meet the AP PGECET cutoff will be eligible for AP PGECET 2024 counselling. Students must bring an original copy of each of the following documents, as well as a Xerox copy, to the verification.

- Aadhar Card
- Provisional certificate or degree certificate
- Marksheet of the qualifying exam

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati is set to begin the AP PGECET 2024 counselling registration procedure in August 2024. The authorities will hold the AP PGECET 2024 counselling on the official website eapcet-sche.aptonline.in. It will be held for GATE/GPAT and AP PGECET applicants. AP PGECET 2024 Counselling Procedure
The exam authorities hold separate AP PGECET 2024 counselling sessions for GATE, GPAT, and AP PGECET qualifying applicants. The counselling procedure will include several steps, including fee payment, reporting to centers, document verification, option filling, and others.
The authorities will conduct online counselling for both AP PGECET 2024 and GATE/ GPAT-certified applicants on the official website. The seats are allocated based on the marks obtained by applicants in the qualifying test.
Step 1: AP PGECET Registration and Fee Payment
Candidates must log in to their accounts using the hall ticket number and rank. Following successful AP PGECET login, the candidate must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for SC/ST) in online mode. The transaction ID should be saved for future usage.
Step 2: Reporting at Centres
Following successful fee payment, candidates must report to the document verification centers. The AP PGECET 2024 rank card must be presented to the exam authorities. Candidates must bring their processing fee payment receipt or transaction ID with them. In addition, they must supply their mobile number and Aadhaar card number.
Step 3: Document Verification
Candidates will need to get all the required documents verified. Following document verification, a receipt will be generated. Candidates must keep it safe for future reference. Candidates will also receive a login ID to their registered mobile number.
Step 4: Choice Filling
Candidates will need to create a login ID and password using their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth. After login, an OTP will be issued to the candidates' registered mobile number, allowing them to fill out their selected college/institute and courses. Candidates are recommended to choose as many options as possible to maximize their chances of acceptance.
Step 5: Seat Allotment
The final step is the seat allotment process. The exam authority will assign seats to candidates based on merit, available seats, and preferred filled options. Candidates must download the AP PGECET seat allotment letter. They would then be required to report to their allotted colleges. If they fail to do so it will result in seat cancellations.
