NLUs Eligibility Criteria 2024

For UG Students

NLUs have different eligibility criteria for their undergraduate students. Below are the criteria for the undergraduate students to take admissions in NLUs:

NLU admissions are open to those who have passed or are scheduled to take the Class 12 qualifying exams.
General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI category students must get at least 45% on the qualifying test.
SC/ ST category students are given a 5% reduction in the minimum qualifying marks, requiring them to score at least 40% in 10+2.

For PG Students

There are different eligibility criteria for postgraduate students that students should consider while applying for NLU. Below are some of the criteria:

An LLB degree or its equivalent from a recognised law school or university.
General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI categories must have scored at least 55% on their qualifying law degree.
SC/ST categories require a minimum of 50% or an equivalent grade.
Candidates who are currently enrolled in their last year of law school are also eligible to apply.
