RGUHS grading system follows a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system for evaluating student performance. Candidates scoring a 10 grade point will have a letter grade of O (outstanding), 9 grade points will be awarded A+. Similarly, candidates having a CGPA of 7.75 will be awarded a distinction, between 6.75 to 7.74 will be awarded first class with distinction, and so on.

Academic Assessment of RGUHS: The evaluation is an ongoing procedure throughout the semester, and it is essential for students to successfully complete all assessment tasks. Every activity and assignment provided by the institution will receive equal importance. The academic assessment of student performance consists of three elements. Passing Criteria for RGUHS
The passing criteria at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) may vary depending on the specific course and program.
- A candidate will be considered to have achieved a first-class grade if they obtain 60% or more but less than 75% of the total marks in the first attempt.
- Similarly, a candidate will be declared to have passed with a second-class grade if they achieve 50% or more but less than 60% of the total marks in the first attempt. If a candidate passes an exam in multiple attempts, they will be placed in the Pass Class regardless of the percentage of marks obtained.
- To proceed to the next semester in a university examination, a candidate must have participated in all subjects of the current semester and passed a minimum of two subjects.
- Each candidate is limited to a maximum of four attempts (actual participation) to pass each exam. If a candidate fails to meet this requirement, they will be unable to continue the course. Nevertheless, the candidate has the option to reapply as a new candidate.
RGUHS Admission Process
Candidates can visit the official website of RGUHS to fill out the application form and important dates regarding the admission process and submit the required documents and valid ID proof.
Once the CUET 2024 results are out, candidates will be shortlisted based on merit and notified for further counselling. The university will declare a final merit list after the end of the process for candidates who have been offered admissions based on the colleges they have opted for the specific program.
