Neerja Bhanot

Neerja Bhanot, Ashoka Chakra recipient, born in Chandigarh, brought up in Mumbai. On 5th September 1986, she died while saving passengers on Pan Am Flight 73, which terrorists hijacked during a stopover in Karachi, Pakistan. Neerja is known to become the youngest recipient of India's highest peacetime gallantry.
Neerja completed her early schooling at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School in Chandigarh after her family shifted to Mumbai; she continued her schooling at Bombay Scottish School and graduated from St. Xavier's College Mumbai. Bhanot applied for the flight attendant job at Pan Am, and she was dedicated; hence, she pursued training as a flight attendant at Miami, Florida. Bhanot was the Senior Flight Purser on Pan Am Flight 73 when the incident took place.

Pankaj Udhas is a ghazal singer who originated from Gujrat in India started his career releasing the album Aahat in 1980. After so many successful poems and odes, he got an invitation from the Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt with an opportunity to sing in the film "Naam" in 1986. From there, his fame rose to the level no one could imagine.

Anu Aga is a well-known Businesswoman and a Social worker who leads Theriyuax Pvt Ltd. She was noted among the eight richest women in India, and in 2007 she was in the list of 40 richest Indians by net worth, as per Forbes. She graduated with a BA in Economics from St.Xaviers, Mumbai; later, she completed a postgraduate degree in medical and psychiatric social studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
The All Ladies League awarded Anu Aga with the 'Mumbai Women of the Decade Achievers' Award. Later after she announced retirement from Thermax, she accepted social work as her life. In 2010 she received the Padma Shri for Social work from the Government of India. At present, she is the chairperson for Teach for India. The highest achievement was when she was nominated Rajya Sabha, The upper house of the Indian Parliament, on 26th April 2012 by then President Pratibha Patil.

Rajdeep Dilip Sardesai is a consulting editor at the Indian Today group and the primetime show host on India Today Television. He was also a Chief Editor of Global Broadcast News but resigned in July 2014.
