Eligibility Criteria for UCEED 2023
Following are the eligibility criteria to apply for the UCEED 2023 exam.
- Applicants belonging to the OBC-NCL category must be born on or after Oct 1, 1998. Moreover, SC/ST/PWD category applicants must be born after Oct 1, 1993.
- An applicant can appear for the exam 2 times (maximum limit) in consecutive years.
- Applicants must have passed class 12th/equivalent in 2022 or should be appearing in 2023.
- Candidates from all streams can apply for the UCEED entrance exam.
In order to apply for B.Des after UCEED 2023, one must meet the following requirements:
- To apply for B.Des, students belonging to the OBC-NCL category must be born on or after Oct 1, 1998. ST/SC/PwD category students should be born on or after Oct 1, 1993.
- Students must have achieved the qualified rank in UCEED 2023.
- Candidates should have passed 12th grade or equivalent in 2022 or must be appearing in 2023.
- Students from all streams are eligible to apply for UCEED 2023 exam.
- Science stream candidates with physics, maths, and chemistry can apply for admission to IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, and IITDM Jabalpur.
- A candidate from a stream other than science is eligible to apply to IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur only.

UCEED 2023 Answer Key
The authorities will release the Part-A draft answer key along with the question paper on January 24, 2023. Candidates can check the final answer key of UCEED 2023 on January 30, 2023. UCEED 2023 Score Card
Those who qualify for UCEED 2023 will be able to download the scorecard through the official website. The scores of UCEED 2023 will remain valid for 1 year from the date of the result announcement. The process of downloading the UCEED scorecard is the same as that of the result. However, only UCEED-qualified candidates can download their scorecards for admission purposes.
UCEED 2023 Rank list
The authorities prepare the rank list based on the total marks (Part-A & Part-B combined) achieved in UCEED 2023. Though IIT Bombay releases only 1 rank list, candidates can go to the results page to know their provisional category-wise ranks.
If 2 or more candidates get equal marks in UCEED 2023, the authorities will use the following tie-breaker policy:
- Candidates with higher scores in Part B of the paper will get a higher rank.
- Those with better marks in the section of Part-A will achieve a better rank.
- Aspirants who score higher in Part-A section 1 will receive a higher rank.
- If the tie still exists, the remaining candidates will be given the same rank.
The rank list will include only the candidates who obtain qualifying cutoff scores in both Part A & B and each section, along with the minimum total marks.
