Admission to the Ph.D courses in Amrita University, Bangalore requires a valid score in the National Eligibility Test (NET). If a candidate has not appeared for NET, then he/she needs to have passed Master’s with more than 65%/should have a research publication or a conference presentation/have an interview score greater than 70%/valid score in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

Admission to the integrated courses in Amrita University, Bangalore varies with each course. 

• For MBA+MS Business Analytics, in addition to graduation, candidates need a TOEFL score of 79/IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in each category/PTE score of 55 with a minimum of 50 in each category. Those having valid test scores in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE can apply with their registration number. Candidates in their final year of Bachelor’s degree can also apply if they have completed their examinations and viva. Candidates with work experience will have an extra advantage for admissions
• For MTech.+Ph.D, candidates having a valid GATE score can choose paper appropriate to the discipline of their qualifying degree (if it is available for such a discipline). Those in the final years of Bachelor’s degree can also apply
