Because BHU Varanasi is an old university, its classrooms have a classic appeal. Still, they're also kept up nicely and offer a conducive learning environment. According to the students of BHU, the classrooms are spacious with ample ventilation, well-appointed, and have plenty of seats in addition to large blackboards.

The labs are maintained in perfect order. Moreover, Wi-Fi is accessible across the entire campus, including the departments, classes, and dorms. All the classrooms, labs, and libraries have air conditioning and have the necessary facilities. IIT students have access to fast Wi-Fi throughout the whole campus. 

The library of BHU Varanasi has an extensive collection of books and provides ample resources for students. The spacious layout and structure of the Shreenivas Deshpande Library at IIT BHU offer a proper environment for studying. Additionally, the library is well-organised, with enough reading spaces, magazine sections, and well-stocked bookshelves, enhancing the learning experience. 

The food quality of BHU 's canteen and mess is on par with other top institutes in India. Each hostel is equipped with its own canteen. The mess serves delicious food, and the canteen offers budget-friendly options for students. Meals are provided three times a day. Overall, the food quality in both the mess and canteen meets satisfactory standards.

The sports facilities in BHU Varanasi are equally appealing when compared to the world-class education provided. Sports and games are pushed into the minds of the students to ensure that students understand the value of sports in life. 

Homely Hostel Facilities

BHU Varanasi has made sure to make the students feel homely by offering the best hostel facilities. The hostel facilities are excellent, ensuring a comfortable stay for the students during their program. Two students can be accommodated in each room with plenty of space.

The hostels generally are kept up in good condition, and plenty of resources have been provided for the candidates' ease in their academic endeavours. The students here often feel safe and secure due to constant security provisions and a supportive warden on duty. Students in BHU Varanasi have rated the hostel facilities as the best facilities, as they are able to concentrate on their studies while also enjoying a comfortable living environment.

The mess at the boys' and girls' hostels is good, and the hygiene factor is well maintained. However, few students have complained that the food options at the girls' hostel are limited as compared to the boys.

The campus also has a very safe and secure environment.
