Infrastructure of the college:

Physical infrastructure is very essential for creating a congenial atmosphere that is conducive to learning and the right working environment for teaching and administrative staff.               

Building and classrooms:

The nursing college has a well furnished, bright and spacious building with adequate number of Lecture halls, Seminar rooms equipped with modern teaching aids like Over head projector and LCD (liquid crysal display) projectors.                                 

Library and computer lab:           

Libraries are the backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic institution. The College has a well stocked computerized library wich has a very rich collection of more than 1,000 latest reference books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines and e-journals. There is a computer lab with internet facilities which is a valuable addition that give students access to a mine of information and knowledge. The college also has helinet facility available which helps the students to access e-journals.                                 

Laboratories :   

The College also has well - equipped laboratories like Nursing Arts lab, Obstetrics & Gynecology lab, pediatric nursing lab, Community Health Nursing lab, Nutrition lab and Anatomy lab. 

Transportation:               

The College owns a 32 seated bus and a van to facilitate smooth transit of staff and students for different clinical postings and field visits in community.                 

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is a safe nest for students who are away from home. The hostel is located in the campus. It has got good infrastructure and basic amenities like well furnished rooms, 24 hours water supply, and electricity with power backup, spacious dining hall, study area, sick room and a round the clock security service which makes students feel comfortable and provides a homely atmosphere.

Hostel has provision for recreation like television with cable connection, indoor and outdoor games for students. Students can enjoy healthy vegetarian food prepared in the hostel mess. Students are expected to adhere to hostel rules and regulations which help them to develop self discipline and to be independent when away from the comforts of their home. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus.

The resident rooms are spacious and well-furnished. Each room consisting of bunker beds, dressing table, study tables and cupboards.                 

Play Ground :

All students have membership in Student Nurses Association, which give them an opportunity to participate in sports events at intercollegiate and national Levels. College of Nursing also organizes annual sports competitions for students. Students take part in Annual sports competitions organized by RGUHS.

Clinical Facilities :- 

• BMJ Hospital to which the College is attached has 300 beds with the following specialties. 
• There is a fully equipped 24-hours casualty, laboratory, X-ray, blood bank and pharmacy. 
• Department of Orthopaedics is equipped with a special orthopaedic operation table, a C-arm with image intensifier, imported arthroscope and shaver system. 
• Department of Ophthalmology has operating microscope and phaco cataract lens emulsification and aspiration equipment with vitrectomy facility. 
• A state-of-the-art ICU, with the latest Central Monitoring System and ventilators, has 24 beds for the care of the critically ill. 
• Department of Pulmonology has the latest computerized pulmonary function testing equipment and for the first time in South India Polysomnography (sleep lab) from Holland to diagnose and treat respiratory sleep disorder and has facilities to provide fiber optic bronchoscopy services and allergy testing for patients. 
• Department of Nephrology is equipped with modern dialysis equipment. Services offered include acute and maintenance haemodialysis, continuous dialytic therapies. 
• Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, one of the very few such departments in India, is completely equipped to perform complex vascular bypass procedures for the prevention of limb loss, stroke, and other newer minimally invasive procedures like peripheral angioplasty, stenting and endovascular repair of aneurysms. 
• The Gastroenterology Department is equipped with the latest version of Video endoscopy system. Apart from routine diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, the department offers various therapeutic endoscopic procedures including variceal ligation, polypectomy and therapeutic ERCP for removal of CBD stones, stenting, etc. 
• Surgical Oncology Department can comprehensively handle all cancer surgery pertaining to head and neck, thorax, abdomen, gynaecological cancers and cancers in children. 
• The Physiotherapy Department is well equipped with all the modern electrotherapy equipment, exercise therapy gadgets and pain relief modalities. 
• Department of Interventional Radiology equipped with a highly sophisticated C-arm with DSA capabilities can perform any diagnostic or interventional work. 
• Eight well equipped new operation theatres are fitted with Hanaulux OT lights where any kind of complex surgeries can be performed. 
• The hospital also has a number of deluxe, private and semi-private rooms which are provided with air conditioning, colour TVs and telephones. 
• The Artificial Limbs Centre is managed by professionals.
• A well equipped Mother and Child Care Department with facilities of NICU and PICU.
