BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology is founded in 1984, formerly it known as a B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent University is a deemed to be university situated at the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Previously it functioning under Madras University (1984–2001) and Anna University (2001–09) as Crescent Engineering College, the institute gained deemed status in 2008–09.
