Budge Budge Institute of Technology B.Tech Eligibility

B.Tech is a 4-year undergraduate program offered by BBIT Kolkata. It has specializations in Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Basic Science And Humanities Department (BSH), Information Technology (IT).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks and 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination.
• Candidates who pass 10+2 and qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (MAIN) Examination in the current year and recommended by Central Selection Committee are eligible for admission.
• Candidates must have passed the Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category students) in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category students) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
• Admission through Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made strictly on the basis of current year merit and the preference of candidates in the Common Entrance Examination for admission through the Lateral Entry Scheme (i.e. JELET) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

Budge Budge Institute of Technology MBA Eligibility

MBA is a 2-year postgraduate program offered by BBIT Kolkata. It has specializations in Marketing, Finance and HR.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be a graduate (10+2+3) in any discipline from UGC recognized University.
• Candidates must be a graduate (10+2+3) in any discipline from PTU / SMU and any other recognized University.
• Candidates must have a valid MAT / CMAT / WBJEMAT score.
• Candidates with work experience will get preference.
• Candidates will be selected through GD & PI.

Budge Budge Institute of Technology M.Tech (Electrical Engineering) Eligibility

M.Tech in Electrical Engineering course is a full-time program offered by BBIT Kolkata. The M.Tech program also has specializations in Power Systems (EE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech/AMIE degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognized university/Institute.
• Candidates with valid GATE / PGET scores will be given preference.
• Candidates who have appeared/are due to appear current year at the equivalent qualifying examination may also apply. 
• The admission test will be a written examination followed by an interview. The syllabus of the written test will be as per the GATE / PGET syllabus.
