Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:
- Candidates should complete their BE/ B.Tech graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate in a relevant field to be eligible for admission.
- Candidates should have a valid GATE exam/ PGCET scorecard.
Admission Procedure:
- Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering admission is conducted solely on the basis of qualifying examination or merit in the written examination conducted by the college itself.
- The written test is conducted by the university for candidates and rank list is obtained. On the basis of this rank, the candidate will appear for admission carried out through single window counseling process.
- Candidates with a valid GATE score will be given first preference for the seat selection in the counseling process, then university rank holders will be given preference.

Placements & Internships : I have done an internship in Schneider electric core company which is in electronic city and got stipend worth 20000 rupees for the period of 2 months Almost every company will hire students form DSCE and roles will be of all kinds Average salary is above 5 LPA, HIGHEST goes up to 20-30 LPA. almost 60-70% of the students of every batch get hired every year. Alumi network is just mind-blowing and has a large alumini network.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is above 50 percent for the general category and above 45 percent for SC/ST students I took PGCET - POST GRADUATION COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CUTOFF was below 5000 rank when i gave my test.
Fees & Scholarships : KEA FEES - 64000 rupees per year. College fees - 53000 rupees per year. Scholarships are provided to all eligible students.
Academics & Faculty : Class starts from morning 9 AM, daily we used to have 4 classes and afternoon, we used to have labs. Before each internal we have to submit 1 assignment from each subject. The quality of teaching is really nice. They take care of every child individually. My experience in college was really nice.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels, one is Indian and another is NRI, NRI hostel costs more than the Indian its on campus PGs are very accommodating and near to the college. Food inside the college is good and fractional cost. The quality of classrooms and labs are up to the mark and wifi is available in each and every classroom, key infrastructure is also well maintained
Clubs & Associations : Students participate in all kinds of programmes cultural and Western..DSCE conducts fest every year Cultura and many other programmes will be celebrated even kannada rajyothsava also celebrated. College life is great, more than what i expected.

Placements & Internships : College doesn't provide any good Internship opportunities, it is solely students responsibility to find an internship. All top companies visit campus but placement opportunities is not good for M.tech students.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is a four-year full-time degree course from a recognized university. I had written VTU PGCET to get into M.Tech at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore. Cutoffs depend on the PGCET Rank and number of seats available.
Fees & Scholarships : Infrastructure of the college is very good but Fees is more compared to other colleges, they charge for uniforms and they never ask to wear, they charge for some training programs and they hardly give training. I am not aware of any scholarship programs.
Academics & Faculty : No doubt Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. There are many Professors (Ph.D.) who take classes for both graduates and post graduates. There is a Full fledged Digital Library, they follow most effective teaching practices. My Two years life at DSCE was just awesome.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : DSCE is at the center of the city, unlike many other engineering colleges. There is a Separate hostel for boys and girls in the same campus. There are also many PGs near the college. It also has a multi cuisine canteen and the price is fairly okay. Infrastructure is very good with good Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi etc.
Clubs & Associations : DSCE campus is very good surrounded by tress , small hills & there is also a temple at the campus. Each Dept conducts Fest and many other cultural activities. There is a Football court and they encourage many sport enthusiasts. College, in general, is just amazing.

Placements & Internships : One can get a good exposure to industries through internship as the senior faculties are constantly in touch with industry persons most of the times they refer the students for placement in the same industry where they get internship .. very good placement facility for Pg also ..and alumni network is very good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got through my pgcet with 3000 ranking in mechanical engineering and opted for M.tech in DSCE.
Fees & Scholarships : University fee 64090 and college fee 35000per year There are government scholarship available on merit from state government 25000 every year and if you come through GATE u will get 12000 per month from Central 85% of students get scholarship Loan is needed if you are an hostility and depends on financial condition.
Academics & Faculty : Class timings is from morning 9 am to 5 pm .. lab classes will be usually in the afternoon weekly 3 days.. Quality of teaching is excellent as most of the faculties are doctorates and some scientists and guest lecturer are available Overall the best place to learn.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 2 hostels.. girls and boys Food and amenities good single sharing manually 70000 should. Paid at the beginning And there is the number of pgs available of different price range and facilities Classroom labs are neat and well-equipped wast library facility main and department wise.
Clubs & Associations : There are many technical Nd culture also sports clubs are available Much technical competition organized by the college as well as industry Many fests including events for staffs arranged by students Very well multidisciplinary environment.
