Academics & Faculty : It's a myth that if you are in B- School you get to sleep just 3-4 hrs a day. In Delhi School of Economics commonly known as D-school classes are pretty chilled out. We have two specialized courses in MBA. First is International Business(IB) and other is Human Resource(HR). We have classes from 9 am - 3 pm sometimes 9 am - 5 pm. Projects are rare. Faculties do give assignments but they are easily manageable. Here many students do a lot of Live Projects and Internships (not included in academics). Faculties have great credentials but not easily accessible.

Placements & Internships : It's a 20 year old course and we do have various events to catch up with alumni such as Alumni Dinner where students can increase their network. Many good companies hire from campus. Google, Deloitte, Hero Motocorp, Agrotech are some amongst them. A

Many good companies hire from campus. Google, Deloitte, Hero Motocorp, Agrotech are some amongst them. Average package goes to 7 - 9 lpa. But there is no international offer as of yet.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructure lacks as compared to other B-schools but according to the fees you pay its good. We have Ratan Tata Library in campus with total collection comprising 2.5 lakh volumes of books and bound periodicals. Transportation is good. Te nearest metro station is 10 mins walking distance from college. Rickshaw, buses are also connected.

Clubs & Associations : It's a professional course so there are many professional clubs like MARCOM (Marketing club), Fin- Cell (Finance Club) etc. We even have different committees like Placement committee, Alumni Committee, etc. We don't have any cultural or sports club. University has a good sports facilities though.

Academics & Faculty : Classes starts from 9 am in the morning on regular basis,assignments are given to students frequently.Faculty is very nice overall. All the faculty members of the various faculties are very helpful nevertheless. Although communication takes place in English, the teachers make it a point to get their message across to students, in the language they are comfortable with; so that learning is not affected with language as a hurdle. Regarding Attendance it is set by the norms of the Delhi University is 66% which is followed here strictly.

Fees & Scholarships : Tuition fee is very nominal. We have to pay just 18K for a year and another 16.5k per year for students activity (e.g. Placements). So pursuing MBA from D-school in very cheap. The topper of the class gets the scholarship. As the fees is less students don't apply for educational loans. Some may apply for personal loans as Delhi is expensive.
