DBE DU offers admission to a total of 5 UG courses. Students seeking admission to any of the Department of Business Economics admissions must first meet the eligibility criteria. DBE UG Admission Selection Process

Department of Business Economics UG admissions is based on CUET (PG). The detailed UG admission process is given below:

1. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must register themselves for CUET (UG).
2. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment.
3. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences. 
4. Post that, candidates have to check their DU CSAS simulated ranks released by the university.
5. Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. 
6. On the declaration of the DU CSAS allocation results candidates must log in on the DU CSAS dashboard to accept the allocated seat.
7. As the students accept the seat, their admission is finished in the college of their choice.

Department of Business Economics MBA (BE) Admission 2024

DBE DU offers admission to MBA (Business Economics) program. The duration of the course is 2 years. The two-year MBA program is divided into four semesters. The first-year curriculum builds fundamentals of statistics, economics and various aspects of business such as finance, marketing, corporate law etc.

DBE MBA(BE) Eligibility Criteria 

• Department of Business Economics eligibility criteria for this course is that the candidates must have graduated (Under 10+2+3) in any discipline, with at least 50% marks from DU or any other recognized University with Maths/Business Maths in class XII level. 
• Candidates in their final year can also apply.
• The minimum eligibility requirement for the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates will be that they must have passed the qualifying school/ degree examination.

DBE MBA (BE) Selection Process

The candidates are selected on the basis of CAT score, GD, and personal interview. The detailed MBA (BE) selection process is given below:

Step 1: Appearing for CAT

Students seeking DBE MBA (BE) admissions have to register by filling out the application form from the official website of the university. Students who meet the CAT cutoff can only apply for MBA admissions. Students must meet the CAT cutoff to move to further rounds of selection.

Step 2: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

DBE PhD Eligibility Criteria

• For admission to Ph.D. a minimum of 55% marks in Masters’s Degree (or its equivalent grade in the UGC 7-Point scale) in the same or allied/relevant subject from a recognized University with 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved category (OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST and Persons with Disability). 
• Reservation and relaxation to the candidate belonging to the EWS category will be given as per UGC/University rules.

1. Candidates seeking Ph.D admissions must first register themselves.
2. Registered candidates have to appear for a round of a qualifying examination.
