Placements & Internships : DBE boasts 100% placements for both summer internships and final placements. Companies like DE Shaw, Barclays, Arcesium, Dunnhumby, American Express are regular recruiters. Roles in the domains of Analytics, Marketing & Finance was offered by these and other companies every year. Average Internship Stipend for 2018-20 batch was Rs.61,000.Finals 2017-19 batch witnessed highest job offer of 28 LPA, average and median salaries were 11.3 LPA and 11.7 LPA respectively(which is expected to rise this year)
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The shortlist for admissions is on the basis of CAT scores, followed by Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview(PI). The cutoff last year for shortlisting for GD-PI rounds was 95.8 percentile(GEN), and previously used to hover around 93 percentile.
Fees & Scholarships : Being a student-driven institute we do have a student body fund(like FMS, DSE,etc.) to look after placements and other events organized by the student body. The amount was Rs.33,000 for this year.
Academics & Faculty : DBE follows semester system. Classes are held from Mon-Sat. Every week we have guests coming from industry to conduct an interactive session with our students. Faculty are of top quality and are very helpful. Their teaching quality is of premium level. Coming to the curriculum it is aligned with industry standards and expectations. It will surely make students industry-ready.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The campus is lush green,you can’t miss out on the Delhi university’s Library, which is top-notch. Hostel facilities are available but limited.PGs/Flats can easily be found outside campus(Satya Niketan, Motibagh, Anand Niketan etc DBE, Delhi infrastructure facilities facilitate spacious and ventilated classrooms The college has a fully air-conditioned cafeteria. They provide hygienic and quality food to all the students and staff members The Campus has sports and medicals facilities.

Placements & Internships : I did my internship at MDRA with a stipend of Rs, 10,000. The usual internships are offered in analytics, finance, and marketing with the average spend around Rs.10,000 per month. The final placement packages offered around Rs. 8-9 lakhs per annum and the roles are majorly in analytics, market research, and finance. Some key companies visited this year include Barclays, Deshaw, Dunhumby, EXL, ANZ Bank, etc.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for joining the Department of Business Economics, Delhi University, [DBE DU] Delhi is passing the 10th in a stream of maths. The students have to clear CAT exam. The cutoff is around 90%.
Fees & Scholarships : This is the best part, being a department in the University of Delhi, the fee for the entire course is around Rs. 25,000 only.
Academics & Faculty : Good teachers having enough scope to help in a research field. The method of teaching, however, is not good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructure is not fancy however almost all facilities are met as the department is a part of South Campus, DU.
Clubs & Associations : A number of clubs and associations in Department of Business Economics, Delhi University, [DBE DU] Delhi both for professional/technical people and cultural activities are present and a student might find ample of opportunities of indulging with them.
