Library
The activity of providing library facilities to the students and staff started along with the other academic programmes. The library activity of DIET started with the setting up of library for College of Engineering in 2009. The Library serves as a place where students can delve deeper into their subjects and widen the horizons of their knowledge. In order to help its students to keep abreast with the changes happening in the world of technology, the library also subscribes to online journals, periodicals, and regional and national news papers.
There is a well staked Library with 2,045 titles and 8,645 volumes together with both leading 50 National and 25 International Magazines and Journals. The Library has a total plinth area of 750 s.ft and facilities like air conditioned and seating capacity of 200 person at a time.
Canteen
For a student Physical Strength is very important to cope with the academic demands and Nutrition plays a major role in making an individual healthy. At Dhanekula , the College Canteen serves on all working days catering to the needs of both faculty and students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I came to B.Tech 2nd year by studying Diploma and writing AP ECET entrance exam while directly admits the diploma students into 2nd-year B.Tech and the fees for me after the fees reimbursement was INR 36,000 per year whereas the total fees was INR 71,000 nearly and INR 35000 was paid by the government itself.
Placements & Internships : I had done an internship in the government office of Vijayawada which is related to CIVIL Engineering. And I had studied the construction of Vaikuntapuram barrage on the Krishna river.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 35,000 per year. I didn't get any scholarship as I was an OC student where other caste students nearly, 80 members, get nearly INR 1200 per month as a scholarship.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels one for boys and one for girls. Hostel fee is INR 54,000. Meals and breakfast are good. Quality of labs and room are top notch.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in this college, the candidate must clear the AP EAMCET exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 60 cutoff mark is required.
Placements & Internships : Companies like Infosys and Amazon hired our students. The average salary offered was INR 10 lakh per annum.
Fees & Scholarships : The fee is INR 28,000 per annum. Government scholarship is available for students. On an average, in a batch, 300 students may get the scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : College starts at 9 am and end at 4.30 pm. There will be 2 mid exams every semester. Assignments will be given. Good and clear teaching skills are possessed by our lectures. My overall experience is very nice.
