Academics & Faculty : Class timings are normal- 10AM to 3.30PM with 3 classes each of 90 minutes and including 1 hour break time. Projects and assignments are assigned once each semester and carry marks according to WBUT reguations. Exams are held monthly, and carry 30 marks; the papers are set in accordance to WBUT syllabus and are just. Professors take care while teaching, even taking extra classes when the topic is complex. Quality of teaching is good and with lab assistants technically sound. The overall experience is quite good.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is Rs 29000 for even semesters and Rs 32000 for odd semesters. At an average, 6 students out of 60 get scholarships every year. Loans are sometimes needed by students. They are easily available and a large range of banks are supported.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels are not there. PGs are available not far from the campus, and cost is minimal. Food available at the canteen is quite tasty and in average costs about Rs 15. Classrooms, labs, libraries are clean and hygenic. Wifi is available for both students and teaching staff. Non-teaching staffs are nice and friendly.

Clubs & Associations : Annual fests are held. Various student associations are present, but without interfering normal college life. College life is without politics, hatred and discrimination.
