Placements & Internships : Accordingly, placement is done. Like in the first semester of B.E. core companies do arrive for respective branches. 60% students got placements. Salary package depends on the company. Average package is about INR 2 lacs per annum Companies like- TCS, Tata Motors, Amazon, LG, Mahindra rise.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I was selected by giving MH-CET, I scored 109 out of 200. For mechanical, 90+ marks is enough.

Fees & Scholarships : Dr. DY Patil College of Engineering has particular fee structure like INR 87,000/- for mechanical engineering, Fees is less as compared to other colleges nearby.

Academics & Faculty : Timings are very long. 8:00 am to 5:15 pm (for the first year) including 30min break and 45 min break. They take many exams for no reason which is not compulsory from the university. 3/10 teachers are good, they have knowledge about the subject and teaches very well. But, other teachers are not knowledgeable and good at teaching.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels. One for boys and one for girls. Girls hostel is in front of the college. Boys hostel is about 0.5 km away. Fees are INR 1,15,000/- it is very much than that of private hostels. College looks great from outside. But, not same from inside.

Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs for every branch and for other activities. Students work hard and take part in many competitions. College doesn't support much. The things I thought about college before admission and the things which are going on is very different.
