Dr V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies was established 13 years ago by Dr V.V. Bedekar. But the Department of Management Studies was established 45 years back by his father Dr V.N Bedekar. Every year this institute produces excellent qualified management professionals. Also, because of its excellent faculty and infrastructure, the intake capacity of this institute was doubled by AICTE within the span of two years.

Apart from that, to conduct high-quality research and disseminate knowledge Dr VN BRIMS has also established a research centre. This research centre provides knowledge to the students through publications.

Bedekar College has an innovative and creative approach to the teaching-learning process. This institute develops practical skills and critical thinking of the students through group discussions, role play, case studies, presentations, quizzes, management films and games, guest lectures, industrial visits etc. Dr VN Bedekar Admissions are for various courses in the field of management studies.

Furthermore, this institute spreads over 13.5 acres of land. It is located in the middle of the industrial hub of Thane. Moreover, this institute has a locational advantage as it is located close to the railway station and CIDCO bus stop.
