An MBBS graduate can opt for various job like Medical officer, or he can apply in hospital according to the vacancy available.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Government Conduct's an all India examination for students who wants to opt medical as their career.
I got admission in Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College by clearing the NEET-2013 examination.
There are no cutoffs, the selection procedure depends on a rank secured in the examination.
Fees & Scholarships :
The course fee at Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College is Rs. 2.5 lakhs for the entire course.
There is various scholarship provided by Maharashtrian government but 15% students are ineligible for scholarship facility.
Loans are available but interest rates are high.
Academics & Faculty :
Since Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College is a government college the quality of education is not good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Hostels facility are average at Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College. The rent of hostel is Rs. 4,000 per year which again is very affordable.
PGs are available, but again they are expensive and I can't afford them.
Food is below average and a single meal cost around Rs. 35.
All basic facilitates are available like library, labs but have poor maintenance.
Clubs & Associations :
Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College has an administrative body who is responsible for the annual festival and other events.
Symposiums and college festivals are celebrated annually.
College life is average according to me.
