Dum Dum Motijheel College, Kolkata was founded in 1950. This college works hard for the development of the skills of the students in the area of their choice. The college took an oath to provide the best quality education to create good citizens in society. The College motivates the youth to achieve success in every field of knowledge and enhances active, passionate and novel agents of social change in the country.

Dum Dum Motijheel College courses include BA, B.Sc, B.Sc [Hons.], MA [Hons.] and M.Sc [Hons.]. It is one of the first colleges in West Bengal which encourages the students to reach their goals. This college has nearly 3000 students, 92 teaching faculty and 56 non-teaching faculty. Dum Dum college is accreditated by NAAC with 'B+' grade.
