Placements & Internships : No internships were provided from college. The placements are average. The alumni network is good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I gave Goa CEAT exam and admissions were based on merit list. Goa CEAT. It depends on your category for admissions. General candidates needed a score of above 80% to get their desired branch.

Fees & Scholarships : Goa College of Engineering, North Goa Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 15,000 to 20,000. It's a government college so the fee is less. The course fees include exam fees and hostel fees. No scholarships are available.

Academics & Faculty : College timings are from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. and weekends are off. The quality of education is decent. Average experience

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels for boys and 2 for girls. The hostel fees are very low and the quality of the hostels is very good. PG options are available nearby and are affordable. The college canteen provides decent quality food and a lot of options are available. The campus is huge with good quality classrooms.

Clubs & Associations : There are of a lot of societies and councils including college and branch councils. The main events are the inter-branch event Tandav and all India event happenings. It's the best college a student can ask for in terms of college life.

Placements & Internships : I did my internship at structural consultant in Goa with a stipend of INR 3000 for 21 days. For civil engineering, no major companies come for placements. Average was INR 12000 per month. From my batch, less than 20% of the students got placed on campus. The alumni network of the college is strong.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must clear the GCET exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 60% cutoff mark is required.

Fees & Scholarships : The fee is INR 15,000 per semester. No idea about the scholarship. Loans can be available by any nationalised banks.

Academics & Faculty : College starts at 9 am and end at 5 pm. Only a handful of good teachers are in this college. Quality of teaching is very poor. The college life in GEC is a lot of fun.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels on the campus. Hostel fee per semester is INR 2000. There is sufficient number of rooms and PG won't be necessary. Food expenses are quite reasonable, there is 1 canteen, 1 restaurant and apart from that, all hostels have an individual mess. The civil engineering department has poorly equipped laboratories. The library is very good. WiFi services are also good in library and hostel.

Clubs & Associations : There are a lot of clubs active in college. We have nature club, photography club, music club, dance club etc. HAPPENINGS SPECTRUM and TANDAV are the major events on the campus.

Placements & Internships : The job placements are pretty good but lacks in some fields like EEE. But it is good in fields like IT,ETC and even Mechanical.

Academics & Faculty : The campus is quite big. The quality of education, even though the syllabus is very old (we've been told that it is changing starting next year) is better than than offered by similar institutions in the state.

Fees & Scholarships : It being a government institution the fees are lesser than other institutions in the state.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The buildings are quite old and need maintenance. But the foundations are strong and there are a few more new buildings coming up too for various departments.
