Placements & Internships : I did an internship with a Renowned builder and developer in Goa in my 3rd year for a month each during my semester break at the end of my 5th and 6th semester. As for my branch civil engineering, hardly any renowned companies comes for recruitment. Mostly the students get absorbed with the local builders, contractors or consultants. As for the other branches, key companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HSBC, Accenture, etc comes for recruitment. The average salary per year would be Rs 3,80,000. Highest salary usually goes to the IT branches with the salary of Rs 5,40,000. The average number of students that get placed is 50% The Alumni network in the college is not as active. But there is an alumni association. Through the Alumni, we get a lot of help be it education wise or job advice.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria depend on your Aggregate in 10+2 (Science) which should be atleast 50% for general and 40% for SC/ST. The admission procedure is mostly based on entrance exam held by the Goa University or through state boards. I got in this college through the entrance exam held by my state, Nagaland as we have 3 seats for Civil engineering every year. And the college being a government college, there is no direct admission, but only through seats on merit basis. The typical cutoffs are basically that your PCM aggregate should be 50% or above.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fees are Rs 10,500 per semester. At present, the semester fees have risen to Rs 18,000 per semester. And hostel fees being Rs 1500 per semester. Usually, there are state-sponsored scholarships or Minority Scholarships An average of about 40% of the students receives scholarships. If you are to avail an educational loan, there is a Corporation Bank in the campus where you can avail Educational loan.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are from 9 am to 5 pm. Usually, there are 2 Internal Tests held per semester the interval between the two tests being about 7 weeks. The assignments and projects are not as heavy. Just nominal. The quality of teaching is quite average and some subjects have good faculties. The method of teaching would be traditional classroom method. The overall experience in terms of academics is average and in terms of co-curricular activities will be Good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is a total of 4 hostels for boys and 2 girls hostel. The hostel fees are Rs 2,000 per semester in which mess bill is excluded. The mess bill comes to around Rs 2,500 per month. The PGs around the college campus rates between Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,000 per month for a 2BHK. The distance will be around 5 to 10 min walk. The food in the college normally serves the Goan dishes blended with north Indian dishes. You can't expect much. I'll rate it as average. The quality of classrooms could be rated above average. The library is good enough with a computer and Wi-Fi facility. The college has a Wi-Fi facility with a bandwidth of 4gbps. The laboratories could also be rated as average.

Clubs & Associations : There is a college student council where the members are elected on the basis of elections held Every year. There are clubs like Taekwondo, body building, hockey, football, basketball, cricket, swimming, nature club, NSS, photography club, etc. The main festival of the college is Called Tandav. It is an inter-branch competition. The competitions are both cultural and sports. And then there is another Festival called Happenings it is an inter college event. Life in the college is awesome.
