Department of Civil Engineering:

The department has a well-equipped laboratory. It intakes 18 students. This department trains the student to take up the challenges of civil engineering, analytic ability to solve the problems which are interdisciplinary in nature.

Department of Mechanical Engineering:

This department has advanced laboratories, seminar halls, lecture halls, computer center and fully-fledged workshops. It contains the faculty members who are qualified from the known institutions. The Mechanical Engineering Department in GCE committed to carrying forward the legacy of its glorious past in modern times and is poised to meet all challenges in the future.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering:

This department aims to awake the young minds, lay a definite engineering foundation and discover new layers of knowledge and talents in engineering studies, through dedication to teaching, commitment to students and innovative instructional methods. This department intake 60 students. This department also has qualified staff.

Department of Computer Engineering:

This department intakes 60 students. And this has an ultra-modern computing facility. It has an advanced laboratory. The departments also have experienced faculty.

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering:

This department was established in 1983. These departments' faculties are actively involved in research activities. This department also has a  student association named as ASSET.

Department of Informational Technology:

Informational Technology is the latest department of this college. This department started in 2001. It intakes 60 students per year. This department is particularly designed to provide the requirements of the latest Information Technology outline. 

Department of Mining Engineering:

This department is started in 2014 in collaboration with M/S Sesa Goa Ltd. Its intention is to provide mining engineers of high competence, having sufficient attention to the principles of sustainable development with the ability to address the present-day complex situations.

Department of Science and Humanities:

This department teaches all students in their subject to expertise in accordance with the specification of particular curricular.

Goa College of Engineering Facilities:

The campus has a banking and ATM facility for the student and the faculty. The college also gives the transport facility to the students. GCE provides various clubs and activities to the student so that students can develop their skills. 

Goa College of Engineering also provides the quarters to staff members.  It also has a guest house.  It also contains the seminar halls, lecturing halls. Goa College of Engineering provides the various laboratories for each department.

The college also has the library which contains more than 87,000 books with a number of periodical, magazine and journals. This library can accommodate more than 300 students. This also contains separate reading rooms and reference sections.

The campus has a canteen and other food stalls where the student can get snacks and soft drinks. In this place, the student can also release their academic stress during the free hour. This college is also said no to the ragging on the campus.

Goa College of Engineering Placements

About 80-85% of students get placement, and the highest package is ₹35,000 per month, with the lowest at ₹15,000, with an average of ₹20,000. Ultratech is one of the largest recruiters on campus.
