Infrastructural Facilities: The College provides modern teaching facilities and buildings represented through modern architecture, giving the precinct a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. The other facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, extensive libraries, seminar halls for UG and PG, reading hall, outdoor and indoor sports grounds. College has the facility of a spacious and hygienic canteen that caters to the taste of all students. It is well maintained with efficient service. The college offers excellent transport facilities to all the students and staff who commute from different places.The infrastructure also includes dedicated computer centers to each department with servers and internet facilities

Laboratory Facilities: Apart from computer centers, each department has its own discipline based laboratories for study and research.

Science & Humanities Department Labs: Physics Laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory, Language Laboratory, Engineering Workshop, Engineering Drawing Halls, Computer Lab (Air-Conditioned).

ECE Department Labs: Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab, Electronic Circuits Lab, Integrated Electronics Lab, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers Lab, ECAD & VLSI Lab,Communication Engineering Lab, Microwave Engineering Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Optical Fiber Communications Lab, Simulation Lab, Research & Development Lab, Electronics Hobby Centre.

Library

The College Library spread over 6000 sq.mts is a place of constant student activity. It is facilitated with books, journals (national & international), magazines, Digital Library for the convenience of the students. Currently, there are 11238 books on 2177 titles and we subscribe for adequate number of journals and magazines. An annual amount of Rs. 4 Lakhs annually is being invested for the development of library. Apart from books on technical subjects related to discipline and courses, it houses books of general interest, magazines and daily newspapers.

The library has also joined DELNET which enables the students to access the journals online for Engineering & Technology and management. We have vast pool up of various tutorials, lectures and other e-books through TIDAL DATA servers. GEC Library successfully hosted 1000 librarians in a National Level Workshop Grandhalay 2K11.

The Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, humanities, social sciences and management. It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Bound volumes of journals, Technical Reports, Theses, Video Cassettes, Compact Discs and Microforms. 

Computer Lab

Computer center at GEC is established to meet the demand for well qualified computer professional and to provide sound knowledge of computing principles and their applications in scientific and engineering domains. The center is provided with 100 high end dual core systems connected in LAN with internet connectivity. The center has two high end servers.

NETWORKING & INTERNET FACILITIES

All the sytems of the Dapartment as well as other departments systems are connected with Local Area Networking (LAN) and are powered with 2MBPS dedicated internet faciltiy provided by BSNL with OFC link to the customer end router.

AUDIO VISUAL AIDS

Department is equipped with 2 LCD projectors and a Portable PAS.

STUDENT AMENITIES

The Department has well furnished Lecture Halls, Tutorial Halls and seperate common rooms for Boys' and Girls'. Excellent TRANSPORT facility is provided covering important points of GUNTUR, VIJAYAWADA, NARSARAOPET, CHILAKALURIPET and TENALI.

Canteen

GEC has well equipped canteen, which provides good quality food and better service and caters the needs of all students and staff. Canteen offers food at subsidized rates so that students feel comfortable with price and avail the facility. It starts working from 6AM till the college is closed. There is no limit for varieties of food and students enjoy the pleasure of having them during their break period.

Transporation

The nearest major railway station is GUNTUR at a distance of 14 km. from the college. The nearest bus stand at GUNTUR is at a distance of 15km. College buses cover all-important points in Guntur, Vijayawada, Tenali, Narasaraopet & Chilakaluripet. In addition, government buses run on the Guntur - Chilakaluripet national highway every five minutes and halts at the main gate of the college.
