KL University was established in 1980-81 by UGC and the MHRD Government of India. It is a Deemed University and is accredited by COA and PCI with an A++ grade by NAAC. UGC, DSIR, AICTE, and the BAR Council of India also recognize it.

KL University Guntur offers degree programs in Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Commerce, Arts, etc. Admissions to courses like B.Tech, BA, B.Sc, MBA, M.Tech, etc., are based on exams like KLECET/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ UCEED/ Uni-Guage/ CSIR/ UGC NET/ JRF/ KMAT/ KPGCET/ JET/ JEE Advanced/ APICET/ AP EAMCET.

KL University Admission 2025

KL University admissions for 2025 is ongoing. Students can register and submit the required documents to enrol at the university. The candidates are selected based on the KL University cutoff and other competitive examinations. Koneru Lakshmaiah University admission is based on merit/ entrance exam score and the University Selection Committee makes the final selection. • For the KL University UG courses, candidates must have a minimum of 50% for all the courses offered by the university. However, the minimum eligibility criteria vary from one course to the other depending upon the selection of different courses by the students. For B.Tech, the candidates must ensure that they score 60% and above in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology. In addition, the candidates must have a valid score in JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/ AP EAMCET/ Uni-GAUGE/ KLEEE. For the BBA course, candidates must also qualify in the written test and an interview conducted by the University in addition to a minimum of 55% in class XII from a recognised university.
• For the KL University PG courses, candidates must have a minimum of 50% in UG courses or equivalent from a recognised institute. However, the minimum eligibility criteria vary from one course to the other depending upon the selection of different courses by the students. For the MBA course, applicants are required to have completed a Bachelor's Degree with 55% marks in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern. In addition, the candidates must have secured a valid rank in KL Business School Aptitude Test [KLUBSAT]/ ICET/ MAT/ CAT/ XAT & Personal Interview.
