Placements & Internships : As per my knowledge, Capgemini, Deloitte are some top recruiters for our course. In addition, many of our students get placed in TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. The average package offered can be between INR 3 LPA to INR 6 LPA or more than that.

The average package offered can be between INR 3 LPA to INR 6 LPA or more than that. The percentage of students placed is 60% or more (though placement basically depends on self-performance). GNIT has a strong alumni network also.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Students who appeared for WBJEE or AIEEE are eligible for taking admission to the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology for the degree of Bachelor of Technology. Else, students can also get a chance via appearing in CEE-AMPAI.

Fees & Scholarships : Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, [GNIT] Kolkata Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 4.07 Lakh. A loan facility is also available for students (but some deposit amounts may be needed per the bank's decision). Scholarships are also available for bright students (1/2 students per class, maybe). Students on obtaining good marks can also apply for Government Scholarships.

Academics & Faculty : There is a mostly tight schedule for classes. Except for the semester exam, students need to appear for two internal exams every semester. Projects and assignments are also there almost for every paper. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, moreover helpful. The course curriculum is relevant that makes our industry-ready. But besides the curriculum, the habit of self-learning will be a plus point for getting the chances of being placed in the desired company.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are separate boys' (2 or 4) and girls' hostel (1 or 2) in GNIT. Hostel fees cost is INR 5500 per month that includes Wi-Fi and fooding. Food quality is medium and is served four times a day as breakfast, lunch, afternoon tiffin and dinner. The infrastructure of GNIT is quite appreciable that includes a library, various labs, smart classroom, playground, gym, basketball court, badminton court, a common room to play table tennis (for boys only), and many more.

Clubs & Associations : GNIT has several clubs of every genre, which supports the active participation of everyone. To talk about festivals on campus, Cultural Fest (Zyzzva) and Tech Fest (Tesseract) are two main festivals, along with the Annual Sports Day Celebration and plenty of departmental programs. GNIT, with its soothing environment, provides a memorable college life.
