Generally, there is no upper age limit for JELET exam. However, for B.Sc. candidates, theupper age limit is 27 years, and for the Diploma in Marine Engineering program, it is 25 years, as of Dec 31, 2024.
JELET 2024 Academic Qualification
Aspirants with B.Sc and BE degrees looking for admission in Engineering or Technology courses must have passed class XII with Mathematics as a subject and B.Sc or BE with a minimum of 45% marks from UGC recognized university.
Aspirants holding a diploma in Technology, Engineering, or Pharmacy and who want to apply for degree courses through the JELET 2024 exam must have scored 45% marks from any Polytechnic Institute or Pharmacy College/Institute recognized by AICTE.
JELET Eligibility Criteria for Jadavpur University
The minimum mark required by the candidates to get admission to Jadavpur University is 60% (45% for reserved category) or an equivalent CGPA from an AICTE approved institution. B.Sc candidates are not allowed to apply to Jadavpur University.

WBJEE JELET 2024 Exam Pattern
WBJEE JELET 2024 is conducted offline, as a pen and paper-based test (PBT). The question paper contains multiple choice questions (MCQs). The question paper comprises 100 questions with a total of 120 marks. One mark is awarded for every correct answer, and a 0.25 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
The time given to complete the JELET 2024 examination is 2 hours, i.e., 120 minutes, and the question paper is in the English language. All questions have only one correct answer.
More than one answer is considered incorrect, and -1/4 marks are deducted for it.
