HIMT College Admission Process
Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training (HIMT), established in 1998 and approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, offers top-tier education in maritime studies. HIMT provides B.Tech in Marine Engineering, B.Sc in Nautical Science, and various diploma and certificate courses. Admission to B.Tech and B.Sc courses is based on IMU-CET, followed by a panel interview, document verification, and a medical test. Candidates must have 60% marks in PCM at 10+2 for B.Tech/B.Sc admission. For B.Tech Lateral Entry, a diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering with 60% marks is required. PG Diploma candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture with 50% marks.
