Coimbatore Marine College, Coimbatore was established in the year 2001 and is approved by Director General of Shipping, Government of India. The Institute is ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution and affiliated to Indian Maritime University, Chennai.

The college is the first Marine Institution to be opened in Coimbatore. The college has a real ship in Campus T. S. Clarissa. The college provides hands-on experience to the students to work on a real ship. The college has on bridge deck and simulators for the bridge operations and automation.
